My husband and myself spent 1 night over the week end at Villa Galilee. The room was ok but no more. The view from the room was nice, overlooking the Sea of Galilee.
Breakfast was one of the poorest I had in Israel. Low quality food, poor choice.
The swimming pool was nice but it was too cold to stay outside.
The surroundings of the hotel have nothing nice and waking around was depressing.
Finally, price is very high as compared to what you are getting.
I would not recommend this hotel. There are so many nice bed and breakfast options in the region.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights part of a family weekend. Although the building is surrounded by a beautiful garden the location itself and view from the rooms is disappointing; overlooking some part of the city that are far from beautiful. The hotel lobby itself and public spaces are full of what appear to be cheap reproductions of classic paintings mounted in heavy classical frames, that give a feeling of a pricy bordel. Our room was comfortable and clean, although the sheet had an ink satin on it. Going down to the bar was also a disappointment as there was no barmen to serve , when one of the receptionists offered to help we realized they do not serve wine (only in bottles). we went for a martini instead but the the poor receptionist - through no fault of her own - needed instructions from us to find the bottle and on pouring the drink. On the first evening we had dinner at the hotel restaurant that was too average by all means. As the hotel is kosher on Saturday morning breakfast doesn't provide fresh eggs. To sum to pricy for what it was.

Room Tip: Rooms facing west are better

This hotel left me with a strange feeling. Its style is so weird- on the walls - copycats of European expressionists painters in low quality, plastic flowers in vases.. wow it was like going back 50 years. And that applies also to the food in dinner and breakfast. Bizarre experience. The room on the contrary was in good size and clean. The front garden was also nice. Location of the hotel is on top of a residential area. Not a very beautiful spot. As everywhere in Israel the prices are high. This hotel is kosher and I believe the target market is large orthodox families that want to spend time together.

Spent a weekend in villa-galilee in sefad, The Galil, north of Israel is great for all kind of actives , food, wine, hikes spa etc. the hotel located on the hill with a great view. the crew is very helpful but very young so it reflects on some of the hotel services like the Tzfata restaurant. during dinner i asked for bottle of Chardonnay and the waitress asked me if its white or red wine, latter she had hard time to open the bottle and wasn't able to give proper recommendation on the main cores. otherwise the hotel is good, the rooms are big, the hotel is clean the breakfast very nice. The SPA crew are professionals. the Hotel have somewhat of Kosher atmosphere maybe because its location in the city of Sefad that is very spiritual place for Jews. Even so its a very nice Hotel with good value for money.

The hotel itself is a very nice and clean hotel located up in Safed. The rooms were large and spacious and fairly comfortable however the hotel is in need of some overall refreshing.
To be honest we were expecting a more boutique and stylish environment which is not the case. That said the staff were great and the rooms wee clean.
The breakfast was stuck from the 90 and the diner we ate on the Friday was pretty bad.
Bottom line decent hotel, great service but don't eat there if you are expecting a culinary experience
