Kosher fish and dairy Italian on the hill outside Safed with gluten-free and vegan options. Salads particularly good and plentiful. Atmospheric building, plenty of choice of wines and beers, cheerful service.

I had there dinner with a few tourists, We had fish - was done perfectly, a delicious pizza and a huge salad. Everything was fresh and service was fast. This is one of the few good restaurants in Zafed if you stay there.

It is my favorite place in Safed for breakfast, but you can probably have a good, kosher lunch and a cup of wine! The breakfast platter for two comes with a huge variety of salads, olives and cheese, besides eggs and you’ll get a good coffee and fresh juice. The shakshuka is perfect. Service a little in the learning phase still, but friendly and smiling, managed our table very well!
By the way, love the iron cast stove at the entrance! Hope it still works!

We stopped here for lunch on the way back from the old city of Safed (5 minutes drive) and sat outside in the terrace overlookung the wonderful view of the Gallili. The chef bistro offers local inspired dishes. We loved the home made breads and mezze, together with the peaceful atmosphere of the area. This is a great stop for a snack with a glass of wine opposite the view, of for a informal meal. try it !!

We visited on one of the hottest days- but you wouldn't be able to tell because there was a nice breeze, late afternoon. The staff was great- attentive and quick and we ended up moving from the upper balcony to the lower chairs b/c of the kids.
The dishes were superb! A mix of old Israeli (Galilee Kalzones) with modern Italian (Beet Gnocchi...wow!!). We were licking our fingers!
