The meat was delicious, and the view and atmosphere are stunning. A ranch in the middle of the forest.

Funnily title for my review I know but very unique in Israel.
One of the best steaks I have eaten in a long time.
Service very good and friendly.
Atmosphere Wild West Israel style. Cowboy and girl uniform worn by staff.
Beer can be served in their labeled boot shaped glasses which you can purchase from them if you want a nice original souvenir of your meal.

If you're going with a first time guest, chances are you'll have a great time. The onion appetizer was great and the same can be said for the salad. The steaks were good although my partner's chicken breast was so-so.
Best thing about the meal was the waitress Noga who was funny, attentive and very helpful. The 2 couples we were with (tourists from California) thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

It is a nice cowboy place, saloon style. Very few visitors will notice that the bar is in fact a railway wagon that the first owner had set there, in the middle of a forest, to use it as a kiosk for the soldiers of the nearby army basis.

As a neighbor, that is since then that I know this place.

Then Bat Yaar (the daughter of the forest. Heb.), up until 20 years ago, was the only advisable place in the Finger of Galilee for these who intended to eat a decent piece of beef. We had more than one…

But times have changed... there are now a lot of good steakhouses in the area, the best of whose being probably Netakh Katzavim in nearby Rosh Pina and Le Geneve, by Kibbutz ha-Goshrim, further North.

And quality of Bat Yaar food has dramatically come dawn. I returned there a few month ago having on my tongue the tastes of nostalgia, but they were gone. Nothing remained of that past glory, but the prices, now disproportionate with what you get in your plate.
