This restaurant seems to be the only place in the vicinity offering something akin to "haute cuisine" - but we thought most of the dishes were just ordinary, as was the service.

Great view, tasty food, pleasant atmosphere. What else do you need? Try the chestnut ravioli, the smoked trout or the steak! And the chestnut soup - unfortunately they don't always have it.

We were 14 people, so quite a large group - a family reunion. Everything was great from the get go. The scenery was magnificent with the Golan mountains glowing in the east with the sunset. The host was very cordial, presenting the menu and the specials of the day (menus were Hebrew and English). The food was excellent, and its arrangement on the dish was beautiful. Chicken liver pate and Greek salad were tasty first courses; shrimps in butter, and grilled lamb ribs wonderful main courses; the malabi special was a memorable desert.

Wonderful experience - very recommended!

We had heard Auberge Shulamit was excellent and so we planned to go there while in the Galilee last week. The view from the restaurant is stunning and the food is even better. Gazpacho was the best I’ve had outside of Spain, the rack of lamb (lamb ribs on the menu) was perfect and the desserts were amazing. Service was personal and attentive. We would go out of our way to go back to this restaurant next time we’re in Israel.
