A weekend at the Ramada Netanya will revitalise anyone from the poor overworked businessman, to the poor busy housewife with kids.
The hotel/serviced apartments is about one year old. Two bedroom and one bedroom apartments with one or 1.5 bathrooms, huge sun balcony and living room with flat screen tv, wi-fi, lots of storage space and small kitchenette with hot plate, micro, kettle. Of course there are restaurants in the hotel and in town (about 15 minutes drive from the hotel).

I stayed in a one-bedroom beautifully appointed apartment with all mod. cons.
The food in the dining room (breakfast and/or dinner) is so plentiful it's a shame not to go back and forth several times to refill your plate.
Huge Jimboree for children as well as other activities - during holiday time various games around the swimming pool - very large with lovely decks all around including sun beds and arm chairs.

What can I say - if you want to be on the sea shore (although the beach where swimming is permitted is about 15 minutes walk along a promenade and parkland for para-gliding, kite flying, etc. which stretches for miles in both directions) to breathe in the Mediterranean fresh sea air, there is the pool for swimming, table tennis on a lower level, and plenty activities for every day of the holiday can be found in nearby Netanya with its main street closed to traffic, plenty of shops, and a couple of big malls.

For the perfect seaside holiday I can highly recommend the Ramada which is operated according to the best international standards.

Room Tip: the majority of rooms/suites have a balcony facing the sea, just a few are corner suites with a large balcony on an angle so that you get almost 100% sea view. There is only a road between the hotel and the sea so all floors are equally as good

This is a truly remarkable hotel, even by Israeli standards and it I offer an almost unqualified recommendation.

Everything is new. The suites are very beautiful and spacious and you really want for nothing. The food, especially breakfast, is just indescribably good, so I won't even try. I'm a cuisine aficionado, but there were so many delicious dishes I of which I had never even heard.

The only downside is the synagogue, and sadly, for this reason alone I would advise all Jewish religious tourists of European origin (or just those who wish to pray) to keep away from this otherwise excellent establishment, especially on Saturdays (Shabbat). It is run by an ignorant dictator who makes no allowance for any customs that are not Moroccan- this guy really managed to ruin what could have been a truly wonderful stay.

On the up-side the Ramada Netanya is probably great for Secular Jews, Non-Jews, you name it and to them I endorse it without a moment's hesitation.

Room Tip: They all seem fine.

WeStayed for two nights as part of the winter getaways promo- two nights, two breakfasts and one dinner for $129 a night! Arrival: finding the hotel was easy, really nicely decorated entrance and common areas. Check in took almost half an hour because they had made a mistake with the reservation (this was expected, having booked thru the american site). We went up to our room (1309) which was small, but perfectly fine. Small kitchenette, couch bed which was made up for us, big balcony with amazing views, dining table for two, two tvs, small bedroom, but very pretty. Breakfast both days was very nice, but lacking in the sweet items- aside from a variety of pastries: no pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, etc. But lots of savory items and salads, etc. Gym was really nice as well, personal trainer man to assist you, fresh fruit, good machines. The pool was closed we think (it looked pretty deserted and dirty), wish they would mention that on the website. Dinner was also great, lots of entrees and sides- huge variety. But also a little weak on desserts. Service was great at breakfast, the waiter brought us drinks and refilled without our asking- he seemd to know what everyone needed. Also front desk staff were very accomodating. Overall a great stay!

We arrived when it first opened, so we allowed for a few glitches here and there ... i.e: room was not cleaned & kitchen was missing mugs, etc..However, the staff was apologetic and tried to compensate . Overall, hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed the room & the facilities. The staff that we selectively interacted with was really nice & the boys at the spa were yum!!! One of the managers, however, on several occasions was extremely arrogant and unprofessional. She had promised to continue charging us the same rate we were paying if we would extend our stay. Then once we had made arrangements to do so, she coldly refused. We had to go over her head and negotiate - it was very unpleasant & we did not appreciate having to avoid her when she would be lounging like royalty at the pool (really unprofessional ). I can understand other reviewers for being critical of the service - the hotel advertises itself as a 5 star - and it doesn't uphold those standards from a European or American perspective. Still , lovely, clean hotel with great views of the ocean - but needs improvement in terms of customer service.
