We stayed two nights at this hotel. Some of the bechak drivers may have trouble finding this hotel so they may request for more money as opposed to the agreed amount. The deluxe room is small and the air-conditioner was leaking. Toilet paper was not provided although shampoo, shower gel and toothbrush set were provided. Guests are given a free 15-minute head massage which was much enjoyed and appreciated. The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is a simple affair of noodles and fried egg. However, you can opt for the Chinese food just outside of the hotel. We tried out two stalls and found the food to be delicious. This hotel provides free transport to the railway station which I find is a hassle-free method to travel to the airport. To hail a bechak, just walk to the main road to the left or right of the hotel. Overall, this hotel is fine for a few night's sleep but not more than that.

Room Tip: The deluxe rooms are extremely small.

We only stayed one night here, awaiting other friends to arrive to Medan, and we arrived around 11pm-ish by our shared taxi. The entrance location is like a back alley, near to "China town" Medan. Quite a short distance to a mall and food eateries, but did not try as it was almost midnight.

Check-in was prompt. The hotel has wifi but really intermittent. Had free hot water (in the breakfast area), but not hot enough for hot cup noodles and 3-in-1 drinks.

The room was small, a bit smelly, and the toilet has "cockroachy" smell. Water pressure was too strong, so had to take the shower carefully as not to allow the water to spill into the room in that tiny toilet. There was a TV with local channels and telephone to call reception. Towel was too small, probably fit a children rather than an adult. Duvet and bedsheets have stains on them. Somehow, it was a bit itchy when I sat on them, so used my spare towel to cover the bedsheet before I slept.

Okay for a night sleep, will not recommend for longer.

We took a taxi from the airport, organised by the hotel. We later found out we'd been charged 250,000, when the meter price is actually 100,000.

The reception, is the smokiest we've experienced throughout Asia and filthy and stained for it. Everyone smokes everywhere here. We were taken to our windowless room, it smelt like an ashtray. All of our bedding had burn holes in it. Cigarette smoke crept under our door all evening from the hallway. Even at breakfast, we had to sit at a dirty table, with smokers to every side of us.

'Inclusive breakfast' incidentally, was scrambled egg, dry toast and I kid you not, 5 baked beans. The coffee machine had run out, so we half a mug of grainy dregs and powdered milk I had to bring myself.

We never got our 'free massage' either, suspect this is a con to lure you in.

Service was fine - nothing to write home about.

Street food outside hotel, to the right, was great. But the hotel can't take credit for this.

Overall, horrible experience. I wouldn't recommend it, even as a budget option.

Unfair to compare the standard of this hotel with other hotels as this is the most budget hotel I ever stayed.
The rooms have card key access system as usual like others but the door to my room is a bit out of alignment .
Water pressure is extreme high and ensure bathroom room door is close when you on the shower tap as the water can shoot out into your room and on TV set.Due to its size,I believe they have no other suitable place to put the TV set.
Breakfast is only kopi/tea and they will get a plate of Fried BeeHoon for you.Must wait till 7 am to be able to take this 'special Bee Hoon'.

Local Chinese food can be found easily here so those food enthusiast can consider staying here if they only love eating but stalls are close before midnight.Breakfast on this street is available only after 7 am.

Do not be mislead and think that there is free airport transfer. The airport has been shifted to Kuala Namu which is about 23 km away .
Be prepared to pay 200rb or 250 rb (Night) for such hotel additional service and they do provide. Not free.

My favourite way to get here is by train and transfer by Bechaks .Total cost less than 100 rb for one.Another way is to take Bus service and transfer by Bechaks or taxi.
If travel with more than 2,can consider taxi or airport transfer.
For train,
Walk out directly from the airport to the Kuala Namu train station and buy a ticket at 80 rb,(discount rate on certain airline for train ticket ) and take about 47 minutes to reach Medan train station. From Medan train station, you can take Bechaks or taxi to your hotel .Usually Bechak nowadays will ask for 15rb and not 10 rb at the station .
Can try to negotiate if 15 K is not comfortable to you but I usually dun mind unless they ask for 20K .This is because minimum taxi fare if they dun use meter is 25 K .

We stayed here for one night. The staff was very friendly and you get a free 15min head massage and train station transfer-even at 3:30am! The rooms arent fancy and were a little bit smelly but for 185000 for a standard we couldnt complain. The hotel also offers great and professional massages (which felt like kneading your body into a smooth dough) for 130000 for two hours. Once again great value! Can only recommend this place if you are travelling on a shoestring!
