The diving was great! The guides are fantastic, and really try to address your needs. The hotel staff tries to please but the rooms and food need an overhaul.
We stayed here as part of a package with Kungkungan bay resort - Which is far superior!
Our decision to stay was based on the fact that the rooms are air-conditioned! This is a huge feature for us.
They tried to address my food allergies - but failed. Its hard to get away from peanuts in Indonesia, you really have to ask every single meal.
If I went back to diving in Bunaken, would not stay here again, would stay in the national park for the proximity to the dive sites. Here it is about 1 1/2 hours from the hotel to the park.
Our overall experience was good, but acomodations could have been better.

Daniel the manager makes you very welcome and he goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is a happy one. All the staff are friendly, helpful and professional.
The resort is attractively laid out and spacious so you never feel crowded, particularly when the dive boats are out.
The a le carte menu tries to cater for all tastes, but it is fixed and a little limited for people staying longer than a week. There are occasional conferences and you can try the local food provided for these. A couple of times a week there is a buffet provided instead of the a le carte, either at the bar at the end of the jetty or on the area in front of the beach. Here you may be entertained by the children from the local primary school putting on a cultural show. This is a real delight, particularly at the end when they politely come round and shake everyone’s hand.
The diving is good and the dive staff again excellent.

I went on a dive trip with a group of experienced, mostly dive masters, divers . I had heard about the great diving in Manado...and I was not disappointed. What was a delightful surprise was the care in which we were handled at Tasik Ria Resort. The staff was over the top in taking care of us from the manager, Dan, to the desk staff , to all the housing staff, and especially the dive staff. The boat was the best. The dive staff handled our gear perfectly, they gave detailed briefings on each dive. The staff were experts at finding the most amazing critters and fish. The food was great. We received special attention at every turn. they prepared special buffets on the jetty for us. And even offered entertainment. We had a fabulous going away party. We stayed almost 2 weeks and were never bored on disappointed in anything. Oh, did I mention the Spa! They have a blissful Spa with the best massuses. They start with a gentle warm foot bath while you enjoy a lovely tamarind juice...and then bliss out with a massage with your choice of essential oil,, and as you leave you are served a yummy hot ginger tea and piece of cake to top off this devine experience. Wow! You will not be unhappy with this as a choice for a destination. Enjoy!

The ideal dive hotel, not too large and with a good ratio of attentive staff to guests. The boat dives were very good ad the house reef, although not the deepest gave good varied diving twice a day for a week.
