A good option to eat fish in Manado. Take your time if you visit Rajawali, the service is not the fastes but it is worth to wait. Moderate prices.

This restaurant is very famous for its grilled and deep fried crispy fish (mujair and mas). It has high quality fried oil and you will not get the fishy taste from the fish. Chilli comes with 3 options.
Also serves other types of fish dishes such as woku and kuah asang; grilled octopus also available upon request.

Manado is not only known for its fresh seafood but its also known for the mouthwatering freshwater fish very well. Two locals favorite freshwater fish are Tilapia (mujair) and Ikan Mas (carper). Rajawali specialty is the crispy deepfried fish and also the fragrant grilled fish with spicy chillies. Both are recommended and locals favorite. I think the do fish soup as well that worth to try.

Both fish tasted kind of similar. First timer would very hard to differentiate and recommended to order the tilapia. Carper has more spiny little bones that make it a little harder to enjoy for beginner.

Locals always order the fish with their favourite vegetable: Stir Fried Kangkong (water spinach)

Managed to visit there 2 times. Love their dabu2 and bakwan jagung. The only dissapointed is their slow service.

Tasty food. For chili lovers, this should be the place to go. Location is in the city centre, next to Swissbel Hotel.
