I had last stayed at this hotel more than 6 years ago. It was a decent hotel but it was slightly further away from the Nagoya area. For a while back then, it was difficult to get rooms as it was quite popular then. That too was a factor in choosing other hotels. So for a change this time, I tried it again.
It was school holidays in Singapore so I expected lotsa families but there wasn’t as many as I had expected. It was fairly interesting to see the hotel again. Staff were friendly and polite. Front desk check in was efficient, handled by Emily. Check out was similar handled by Mr Vicky.
In the past, the hotel only had wifi on the ground floor. This time every room had wifi which was very convenient. Good job.
Sadly the fish tank was empty when I checked in but next morning it had some tropical aquarium fish put in there. I wonder what was the story.
I had asked for a smoking room with a window. It was spacious and clean.
Breakfast was decent, but not refilled as quickly as I would have wanted. But these things happen. In the past the breakfast was really good value for money. Now it was just average.
The pool was clean but overrun with noisy kids. On the same floor was a small spa. But please don’t expect too much. I you keep your expectations low, and just want to spend a couple of peaceful hours for massage, nothing spectacular, then its alright. That is precisely what I did. The gym was alright too.
I wouldn't mind going to stay there again and see if it gets better. No major complaints as yet!
