Our travel agent reserved a room here for a one night stay between tours. What an excellent choice. It's quiet, clean and oh so very unique. The decorations and design are all part of the "holistic" nature of this warm and comfortable B&B. It's in a quiet neighborhood, but still close to the airport. Comfortable and large rooms, again, with unique furnishings. We had to leave too early in the morning for the free breakfast so I cannot comment on that, but the service. location and amenities all add up to a very, very nice stay.

Dhanesvara have many unique rooms. It's large room that cater to a family of 5. Staff are helpful and friendly. The location of Dhanesvara is located within a housing estate and not easy to locate. Even locals are not aware of it existence. Dhanesvara good place to relax.

Take my friend from Jakarta for business trip. He take for Superior Room, named Rossa and the room was very beautiful! I bet there's nothing like this on this city, ever for 5 stars hotel. Etnic, super unique and comfy and this is the hotel you should stay for relaxing night.

Fast stay. The place is nice and it is located in a very quiet area far from traffic. It has been difficult to find it since it is located in a small road in a residential area. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Stayed here after reading good reviews about the atmosphere.. For the price you pay here you can get 4 nights in a proper homestay. Which is not what this place is even close to. The staff doesn't speak English, the hot water makes you wait ten minutes for it, the breakfast is disgusting, microwaved and you have to decide what you want to have on the night before. Also you have to decide exactly what time you want to have breakfast, which leaves you no unique holistic freedom at all. Location is awful, taxi driver had to look for ages to find it and to the centre of Surabaya you can expect a taxi drive of at least half an hour. The bed was very comfortable but bring your mosquito repellant! You will be eaten alive here if you don't. In conclusion, if you are willing to pay 4 times the price of a decent homestay for a place that is worse than a decent homestay but with heaps and heaps of kitch and accessories around you to create this so called holistic atmosphere, go for it. If you want quality, stay away from this place!
