Requested a romantic table for me and my girlfriend and was treated to a beautiful quiet table where you sit on floor pillows and observe the busy Ubud streets from above. There's also more of a bar-style part of the restaurant if you want a more lively vibe. The food was absolutely delicious, one of the best we've had on Bali, the ambience great and the social impact of the Foundation is also great to see.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere great. For every meal sold (the prices are regular) the foundation is able to provide two doctor's visits to people in need.
Only slightly negative note: the staff wasn't very responsive, but the Warung is absolutely worth going.

The food is average. The service is average as the staff is all being trained to learn a trade...which is a really good thing.
It's a great cause and I would have liked to learn more about their work. I am an RN in the states, but I did not have the opportunity to talk to anyone about what they actually do...since no one seemed interested in having any type of conversation.
As a solo traveler, it was not that welcoming, unfortunately.
I'm happy that I was able to contribute to something worthy.

We ate here on our first night in Abud after reading so many great reviews on TA.
We booked there the day before to save disappointment & this is a must. The warung is very popular with tourists & many that just turned up without first reserving a table were turned away, much to the amusement of the staff.
We ordered food which was quick to come but after we finished our mains we asked to see the desert menu we were told “ The kitchen was closed “ the time was only 22.10hrs, it closes at 23.00hrs ? We only wanted crepes, which were just served to the table next to us ?
Overall the food was average & the attitude of the staff was cocky, therefore wouldn’t return as there are much nicer warungs in the area.
