The restaurant claims to serve authentic French and Asian cuisine, however, my husband and I were totally underwhelmed by the few French dishes we selected. There was more burnt bread than onion in the French onion soup and I couldn't taste any butter in the soup. The other appetizer we ordered, which is similar to the Italian bruschetta, was supposed to come with Goat Cheese but had some other block of cheese (maybe mozzarella?). My main course was a scallop dish but the scallops were quite small in size and didn't seemed to be have pan seared at all. The cream sauce that came with it was excessively salty. The baked layered potato was probably the only saving grace. Admittedly, the pricing here is very pocket friendly, but with so many dining options in Ubud and many more opening up, cheap and average food just can't make the cut anymore.
