Been to this resto many times. Whenever i came to Ubud, i must visit and eat at here. The owner is an old French lady.

The food is awesome and the price are stunningly cheap. The ambiance is also not fancy and really cozy. A bit difficult to find for the first timer since located jn a small alley callef Gautama street.

But seriously worth the time to come.

Check it out

I think this place's current ranking in Ubud restaurants underestimates it slightly and we found the food and service to be quick, good and friendly. The French owner was there but doesn't seem to get too involved, different to the place down the road which has owners who are fully involved and ranks on the top 10 in Ubud. Food was good, prices were fine. Would def recommend for a decent cheap eat.

Just left the restaurant (2 couples both French) and being traveling for a long time we were home sick of the French food...

What have we done going in this "restaurant"!!!?

The portions are more than tiny and the quality is less than average. You pay 10 times (not even kidding) the price of an average main course in a local warung to eat less and tasteless!

The grilled lamb (2 French cutlets) have literally more fat than meat:95000! And the entrecôte is without doubt the smallest I've ever seen in a restaurant (and less than average taste): 145000! All of this served without side dish that you have to order separately for an extra 50000.

Ice cream is disgusting and the bill is overall super big considering what you ate.

Just avoid unless you have no mercy for yourself.

What you see is what you pay here. Tips on your discretion. Never let down. Came here after been turn away from Fair Warung Bale. Very easy to find.

Greeted and got a table in no time here. Had pate for starter. And beef tartare for main. Come with proper chunky chips and salad. Yum yum.

Shame don't have anything rabbits available. Next time hopefully will pop over try some rabbits.

Service is top notch here. Not on the busy road. Good!
