Mozaic's degustation menu is a glorious exploration of local ingredients and tastes. The little platter of (we counted) 27 local fruits, spices and herbs on our table set the scene. At the presentation of each course our waiter pointed out which ingredients from the platter had been incorporated into the course. Absolutely exquisitely delicious food, brilliantly conceptualized and delivered. And a couple of dishes demonstrating a sartorial humor, often lacking in fine dining. Exciting matched wines. Gorgeous garden setting. Excellent staff

Wow. The food, the service and the inventive flavours all combine to make Mozaic a truly exceptional dining experience. We opted for the surprise menu with premium wine matching and never has a surprise been more pleasant. The service is attentive but not intrusive, the dishes beautifully presented and portioned so you leave sated but not 'stuffed'. The price tag isn't cheap for an Ubud meal so make sure you've a bundle of Rupiah at hand but comparable top 100 restaurants in the world would be even more pricey. Overall an outstanding night and meal. Thank you Mozaic.

We booked Mosaic on the recommendation of our butler, and were not disappointed! The food is amazing, traditional ingredients presented in a very modern way. The staff are very informed, attentive and helpful. Can't recommend enough, if you're looking for a fine dining experience in Ubud!

Great ingredients, wasted. We were so disappointed with the food.

It is a lovely restaurant (once you get past the 'holding area') and good, classy, service. The presentation is top draw. The problem is that the food is well below average. In some cases it was as if someone without taste buds had put the dishes together.
