We have been here in past years, and we love the atmosphere of the place. Tucked down the end of a little gangway, this warung is quiet, and has been run by successive generations of the same family for years, and the walls are lined with dozens of family photos, plus a family tree hanging proudly in the centre of the end wall.
The prices are a throwback to the past and the menu, whilst not extensive, is certainly sufficient for our wants. A fruit juice costs just IDR 8,000 and is as good as you will get anywhere for three times the price. Okay, this is not gourmet dining, but it's a lot better than the prices might suggest. We go back several times on each visit to Sanur, and have no hesitation in recommending this little warung to anyone wanting good value for money.

It was almost by accident that we stumbled upon this little warung, as it was tucked back some 30 metres from the Main Street in Sanur. The menu is quite straightforward, and the food is all Indonesian, but that's fine. We are, after all, in Indonesia! Prices are, overall, cheaper than most other places in town, and their fresh jus mangga is only Rp8,000, and it is as good as anywhere. This is by far the cheapest we have found juice anywhere. Average prices usually range from Rp15,000 to Rp25,000. Appetisers consist of either Lumpia (4 spring rolls) for Rp15,000, or beautiful Salad for Rp10,000. Main dishes tend be around around Rp10,000 to Rp20,000. The two of us ate out for under Rp100,000 (A$10) and were completely full. We thought those days had gone in Sanur, but there you go, they haven't gone completely. We recommend.

The only thing is that the service is slow. This is a small family warung and the food has to be cooked fresh for your order, so do not be in a hurry. You could wait upwards of half an hour if they have other customers as well. But it's worth it, and you can fill in your time looking at the dozens of family photos and portraits that line the walls. They are fascinating.

Great warung, this warung is hidden in an alley. It is in the same alley as Nesa Sanur. It may appear shady but it's really great. Food is delicious and seriously cheap. Prices of food dishes are around 15.000 IDR which is like 1 euro. Fresh fruit juices were around 5000 IDR which is like 0.33 euro! You wont find cheaper for this quality. Been here twice which says a lot as Sanur has a huge choice of great restaurants. Definitly go here!

The table cloths were the same old, holed that were there over 5 years ago - not changed. Used to eat there often and had good meals but this time I would not recommend it at all. Service was okay and prices are okay.
