Very tasty Italian ice cream, with a pure and full flavor and the choice is very large. Always a treat to eat a gelatto at Massimo! And very busy, because you are always in line for a gelatto, but that also says a lot about the quality. But the nice ladies do their best, so you quickly get your gelatto.

So eventhough its lowseason (March), there is allways a line at the ice-displays.
They have *lots* of gelatos, and for 20k rpi you get a cuppa with two flavors generously served. Higly recommended when hot after shopping.

Then the other day it poored down. Called then and had two pizzas delivered. About 170k rpi incl. delivery and service-charge - they were busy, but worth the wait.
They have the normal classic italian pizzas.

Only thing missing is a menu list in their website - but we ordered pizzas from memory so thats was not really a problem. Great option for a rainy day, though the delivery dude was nearly swimming :-)

I did not expect to find such a big and authentic old Italian fashion restaurant. I went inside to take a look at the many pictures and all the decorations. The gelato's display is massive and l never have seen such a great variety of different flavours in a gelateria's outside of Italy. Unfortunately that night Massimo run out of most of my favourite flavours. The taste of the gelato is fairly good, the quantity is massive (finally a gelateria which does not charge by number of scoops!!) the price is simply ridiculous.

A place we dine each time we visit sanur. The food is very tasty and delicious, but this should go hand in hand with the service. So many staff wondering around achieving 'not much' unfortunately. Seated at our table, firstly the linen was pretty stained, if you use linen serviettes and table cloths, a thorough check should be done. We had to call for service to order drinks, asked another staff member if they could turn the fan on, this we had to ask twice, and still there were staff standing around. One would give a little consideration if it was really busy and minimal staff, but this was not the case. Lift your game Massimos!!
