A large resort with all of the facilities one would expect, including an excellent clinic capable of stitching up small wounds.
We chose the Palace Club Lagoon room partly because in the description it stated that children would not be booked into these rooms because of the direct access to the water. (Health and Safety). Imagine our horror to be woken at 6:30am one day to find the four adjacent rooms booked out to a large family including young children who saw that as a suitable time to go jumping in and out of the lagoon, along with adults, shouting and screaming. In fairness to the management, they did take action and we were not bothered again for the duration of the stay.
Otherwise the rooms were excellent, with large well equipped bathrooms and room service of a high standard.
Access to the Club Lounge provided breakfast every day, afternoon tea and cocktails in the evening. This is typical of facilities in the east and this was as good as those experienced anywhere else. The staff were very attentive and obviously did their homework since we were greeted by name on our very first visit. The lounge overlooked very attractive formal gardens which provided a peaceful haven in the afternoon, spoilt only, on odd occasions by children of 10 to 12 years of age kicking a football around. There were other places this could be done! Dress code, whilst being stated, was not enforced.
Away from the palace rooms the area became much more family friendly with the swimming pools, play areas, access to the beach and restaurants.
The restaurants provided a good selection of food ranging from the fast food type menus to formal balinese and asian menus, with prices to match. All of the restaurants we visited were excellent.
The resort was overall good but it did have some drawbacks, mainly associated with how the management promote their clubbed palace rooms, and then fail to uphold their own policies. This alone would make me question what I could expect during a stay.
I would stay there again, but there may be other resorts in the area that I would prefer.

Room Tip: Palace rooms excellent but lagoon rooms not essential.

My apologies for the "disturbing children" and the dress code "offenses" at the Palace Club. I do hope that these drawbacks did not mar your overall holiday stay.

I chose Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa for celebrating my 10th wedding anniversary. My family of 25 spent a week in the resort and the entire week was right out of a fairytale. I chose this resort after considering 4-5 other 5 star properties and finally settled on this one because of their Wedding coordinator and planner, Metalia. She spent hours talking to me on phone and whatsapp, planning every single detail of the event to the smallest detail and then personally ensured that everything was exactly as we dreamt of, only better. She converted our dream into a reality.

The resort is huge and beautiful. Several excellent restaurants, beautiful beach, several bars facing the pacific ocean breeze and to top it all, world class service from an ever smiling staff. No request is too small or too big - they will take care of everything you want.

If you are considering a Bali wedding or simply a beach vacation, this is the place to be

Despite arriving at the hotel at 5am after a very long journey due to the volcanic eruption which had closed the airport, we were immediately made to feel valued and welcome. The three on site restaurants offer a variety of menus so there is something for everyone whilst the choices at breakfast are endless. Overall a great choice of hotel for both families and couples.

Room Tip: We had a delux room which met all our needs. Complimentary bottles of water replenished daily with water fill up station in the lobby too.

This Hotel cements its place in Bali like a fine wine, it has aged gracefully but its charm and authenticity are great draw cards.
We arrived late in the afternoon but was welcomed by the club staff and introduced to the hotel.
Our room was very spacious and the mattress and pillows comfort was perfect , we had just arrived from a high class modern Singapore hotel so had very close comparison and Nusa Dua beach resort was of similar standards.
The Staff in this Hotel are the life soul and Heart of the whole experience they truly are
fantastic . The palace club staff gave us there friendly pleasant service that truly made me feel sad to go , wishing I still had a longer stay.

A note which I feel compelled to mention is the absence of bacon on the breakfast menu. I did hear several other clients comment on this and even if some High management (as mentioned in other reviews) did put this other substitute in place its
taste is bland and poor. Possibly let hotel clients ask for it as a option if its available .

This hotel has a wonderful restaurant named Maguro Asian Bistro. Everyone here liked smiling, just made me feel like back to home. The beach is very quiet with beautiful scene, a very great place to relax.
