We recently stayed at the Frangipanni Villa in the outskirts of Nusa Dua. We have two young children (9 months and 2.5 years). The villa was clean and well set up for families. We were right in a village with local people and felt we had a great cultural experience. Anywhere near by was done by taxi, but you wouldn't walk anyways with all the scooters on the road. Cost of a taxi to the beach (which was very nice by Bali standards), the Bali Collection, the Museum Pacifika or Hardy's was around $2 Australian in metered, clean, aircon taxis. A trip to Jimbaran Bay or Kuta is about 20-30 minutes and costs around $8-10. Local food was amazing. Restaurants in Nusa Dua will pick you up and drop you at the villa.
Pool was perfect for our 2.5 year old, the villa was secure and the local salon only minutes down the road for great massages and pampering. The villa is beautifully finished off and well maintained by excellent staff. We would stay there again and recommend it to only our closest of friends so we can get back in again soon.
Thanks so much for making our first trip to Bali a wonderful experience. No need to stay in Kuta or in the big hotels, this place has it all and the privacy to really relax and enjoy Bali.More
