Jimbaran in general is lovely for people who like a bit of hustle and bustle and a bit of quiet local flavour. There are beautiful sunset seafood dinners with sea views and your feet in sand. There are local chickens and dogs hanging out drinking water from fountains and lots of local eateries that will try your nerves with chilli. There are local Balinese wearing colourful ceremonial clothes burning divine incense. That's Jimbaran.

Bali Baliku? It's a beautiful and roomy and all yours and as quiet as the roosters and morning scooters will allow. It is secluded. It is a complete home with a romantic netted four poster bed (swoon...take me now). Ample living area with a complete kitchen and a swanky bathroom that invites you out into the outdoor shower...or not. AND YOU HAVE YOUR OWN POOL!

Breakfasts are the best thing - our favourite was the curry vegetable parratha. There's also some great anglo options and a buffet. Try the pure fruit juice and the bright pink dragon fruit.

Your accommodation can be serviced daily or just keep it totally locked down and replace your mini bar at the end of your stay (no weighted fridge here).

The best thing is coming home from a day out walking the mean streets of Kuta or Seminyak - exhausted from seeing 24 hour beer binge sessions. Dirty, smelly and tired only to take a dip into your own perfect temperature swimming pool. At midnight. surrounded by Frangipani that have fallen from the neighbouring tree. Under a full moon. You will understand why the Gods favour Bali...

Now off to the four poster bed.......x

Room Tip: Room 6 was the bee's knees. The staff here are absolutely amazing! Tip generously cos you can afford it.

Background: Have visited Bali 7 times, and stayed in 5 villas in the budget-medium price range.
We recently stayed in Villa 5. The villa was nice, clean, huge shower in bathroom , large bedroom. Room facilities were good, bed and towels were good and clean. Pool and garden is mostly totally private. Villas 1-6 have a high wall outside the villa, but it is not enough to stop the street noise from 7am or arrivals/departures from the restaurants in the evenings. The wall is betwen the villas and the road for the restaurant traffic. It didn't wreck our stay, but was a negative.

Villa location. As I said in title, villa is NOT beachfront, and I hope others continue advising of this in their reviews. I hate fake advertising. That being said, the Jimbaran seafood restaurants are literally a stones throw from reception and beach and Jimbarin Beach Club and the beach is 2 minutes walk from reception. There was an indian and japanese restaurants within 5 minutes walk, and a number of other facilities nearby, such as a minimart, etc..

The breakfast offering was so-so. I advise against the room service pizzas, however the club sandwich was good, and room service wine was reasonably priced.

In our opinion the villa overall was good value for money

Room Tip: Avoid villas 1-6 if you are super noise sensitive.

We couldnt stay at our booked hotel in Sanur and we decided to go somewhere we had not been before so I found this place and Jimbaran. And I am so grateful fore this. This hotel is so nice, with such a lovely staff and beautiful rooms. We stayed in a one bedroom villa and enjoyed it very much. So nice with thr private pool. The hotel was so close to the beach with a lot of small restaurants and a few bars. Jimbaran was very nice and layed back. At the hotel I must mention the staff again. They where really the best. The girls in the spa where amazing. The only thing a bit dull with this place is the restaurant. The food was great but the room needs a upgrade.
We will come back as soon as we can. Can’t wait.

The bungalow was unbelievable. Our own pool, day beds, garden area and outdoor shower. Total privacy. The villa itself was extremely spacious, there was an enormous bed with netting around it (beautiful). Kitchen and dining room. The bathroom was the size of a small house, with a shower, large bath, vanity and toilet. The staff were so lovely and helpful. There was free transport twice a day to Kuta (one way). The only thing(which didn't worry us) was the "beach front" name, as it was not on the beach but about 50m away, so it cannot be seen from the villa. There were day beds and umbrellas available on the beach to people staying at Bali Baliku. Fantastic place to stay....and away from the crowds and hawkers.

Room Tip: We had a one bedroom which was enormous. I know they offer 2 and 3 bedroom villas as well. They all looked spectacular.
