A garden of eden in this region. A tru heritage hotel and indeed boutique by definition. The attention to the decor the art peices the immaculate gardens and the individual design elements in each room are remarkable.

Room tip: We paid a little extra and stayed in one of the classic teak houses. Ooh la la, it was a dream of romanticm art and decor.

Dear Kevin R,

Thank for staying at Balquisse Heritage Hotel, we are delighted that you appreciated our place at its fullest.
It is true that the calm of the property is impressive when we arrive from a long road :)
Zohra Boukhari is the owner and interior designer, she is constantly improving ever single detail.
Give a try to The Bistrot if you go to Seminyak for a breakfast, lunch or dinner, it is the same kind of atmosphere, you may like it.
We are looking forward to have you again soon,

Warm regards,

The Balquisse Heritage Hotel team

Incredibly beautiful and stylish place that is a delight to the eye where ever you turn. We would definitely return to this hotel but NOT to the Deluxe room number 2 which had a communicating louvered door to the library which left no privacy at all and any person in the library might as well have been in the same room as us. Not being an easy sleeper, the music and sound of someone coughing, walking and scraping their chair next door was a problem. For deeper sleepers this would probably not be the case.

Dear Lisa W,

Thank you for staying at Balquisse Heritage Hotel, we are glad that you enjoyed our service and decor and felt in a Palace :)
As you were upgraded, it is might not be the Deluxe 2, but you may talk about The Classic room at The Shaba.
It is 2 rooms communicating by the Library which are usually booked by families to have access to the kids by inside.
We are sorry if you heard some noises.
We are looking forward to have you again soon and may be try the Master Bedroom alone on the other side of The Shaba, or one of the Gladak in the Garden.

Warm regards,

The Balquisse Heritage Hotel team

A lot of work has gone into the design and outfitting of this hotel, for common areas and rooms alike.
Staff is very friendly and professional, and they know a lot about the hotel, making sure they provide guests with an extensive tour.

Balquisse was everything I had expected and so much more. On arrival we were greeted by extremely polite and attentive staff and offered a cold welcome drink. The calm of the hotel and gardens hit me immediately.
The hotel is incredibly beautifully appointed, blending original buildings with newer additions and all of the necessary amenities. Everything had been thought of from slippers and cotton robes, bathroom toiletries and a real hairdryer! But best of all was a 'beach' basket containing towels, sarongs and even beach hats.
The decor throughout the hotel was just beautiful, prompting me to take numerous photographs, furnishings and artwork were extremely tasteful and considerate, reminiscent of a colonial manor.
The restaurant was small with a limited menu, but food was very good as was the service. The breakfast options were great and well cooked.
The staff were really amazing, they couldn't do enough to make our very short stay perfect and, with a late flight home, we were offered access to the pool and other facilities including shower and changing room.
My only negative comment was that in our room, the water pressure wasn't great.
My only regret, not staying longer, but I plan to put that right on my next visit.

Room tip: Hotel is traditional, if you want ultra modern, perhaps not for you. Upgrade to Shaba and Plantations rooms if possible.

The hotel is truly remarkable and great for people who just want to stay in it for all or most of their holidays. However, as we were on a rather tight schedule, it didn't help that serving breakfast lasted an hour each time and that we were forced to wait in front of our rooms after breakfast, because the cleaning lady wasn't done with it yet.
Those things don't matter if you just want to relax and enjoy the sun, but if you also want to visit a bit of Bali and see hotels as a place to chill and rest after a long day of visiting places, this might not be a place for you.

Room tip: the more expensive rooms have their own swimming pool area and breakfast area

Dear Zuzanna K,

Thank you for choosing Balquisse Heritage Hotel.
Breakfast are available from 7 to 11 am, they can be earlier or later on demand (the day before), we also propose boxes take away for the guest who would like to leave for a Bali trip and eat in the car.
If we would have known about your tight schedule we would have been more than happy to accommodate something special for you. We always try to please our guest requirement.
We have a team of 8 amazing and dedicated housekeeping, they always make their best to clean the room during the breakfast so when you come back the room is ready for you. We do apology if it was to short this time, nevertheless it is always possible to ask them to stop and finish once you are gone.
Our team is here to serve you at your pace and follow. We clean the room each time our guest are out, it can be more than 2 times a day.

We are looking forward to have you again soon,

Warm regards,

The Balquisse Heritage Hotel team
