Good hotel for an overnight sleepovers. Do not expect much from this hotel and you'll not be disappointed. The rooms are sufficient for 3 people. The property owner Salim is helpful and courteous.

We used this hotel only for freshening up and sleeping as most of the time was spent in Ranthambore safaris. The location is on the way to Rantambore National park.Everybody knows the hotel and the owner.
The safari drivers can pick you from the hotel as its on the way.

We booked this hotel online as we were not aware of Sawai Madhopur.

Sawai Madhopur being a small village, not all hotels have online presence. There are other cheaper options if you directly walk in to the hotels.

We stayed for 2 nights to spend a whole day on safari and this hotel was very good value for money. They charge extra for air conditioning but it is not very expensive. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Wifi only really works in the lobby.

I have a lot to say about this shambles of a hotel. Before we arrived we rang to check that we could go on the safari as we were aware we were out of season and they assured us that we could still go on safari as half the park was still open.

When we checked in our tuk tuk driving who was harassing us followed us in and would not go away and stood there while we were checking in writing all our personal details down, the staff did nothing to get rid of him even though we were clearly uncomfortable. There were also lots of gross bugs flying around the lobby.

Before being shown to our room the staff asked us if we wanted to sort out our safari, it was late and we were tired so we said we would pop down shortly to discuss.

We were showed to our room which was gross, hairs on the bed sheets and the bin hadn't even been emptied. 5 minutes after being in the room a loud shrill telephone started ringing, it was the staff asking to come down and sort our safari out (as mentioned above we had already told them we would pop down shortly). Anyway we went downstairs to get booked up and he rambled on for ages, we said we wanted to go and then he said, that we could only go if another 4 people booked on by 5am (it was already 11pm by this point). We were very shocked as when we telephoned ahead there was no mention of minimum numbers etc. He seemed convinced that there would be enough people by 5am so agreed he would give us a knock in the morning and we went to bed.

We woke up to a knock at 5am, only to be told that no more people had booked on and we couldn't go on safari! Disappointed we went back to bed.

To top it all off we were then awoken by very loud banging and dragging of furniture around at 7am!! My boyfriend went out to see what was going on and asked them to keep the noise down as we were sleeping and it was only 7am. The noise then continued!! He went out a second time and was a bit firmer with them but STILL they carried on.

When we checked out the manager asked how our stay was and I was very honest, before I had even finished speaking he started screaming at the staff in front of me which was highly unprofessional and just made me feel uncomfortable.

A disgrace of a hotel, avoid like the plague!!!

The hotel is very close to the station as well as the National Park. Its on the highway and easy for being picked up for the tour.

The hotel is neat and clean. Its a good option for budget stay in Ranthambore. The hotel staff is very friendly. They serve decent breakfast. The choices are limited.

Overall very comfortable stay and definitely value for money.

We had a nice stay. The rooms were clean, the staff was nice and helpful. Good breakfast. The location is good, not in the center but as Sawai Madhopur is not very big, everything was close by. Good value.
