Located about 2 km from the Bhubaneswar Railway Station and 5 km from the airport, it is a budget hotel known more for its food in its restaurant. We stayed here for a day. The deluxe room was decent. The toilets were clean. The AC had a problem in case of a power failure. The room service was good. Housekeeping was tolerable. Do carry a coffee/tea maker along with coffee/tea bags with you. The tea/coffee served in the room is costly. There is a vegetarian restaurant attached that served various types of dishes. These were not spicy but very tasty. The restaurant has two units--AC and non-AC. The cost of food in the AC was high and the food was not up to the mark. The one in the non-AC was tasty and the cost reasonable. The timings are from 0630 to 2200 hours. The typical breakfast comprised of idlis, dosas, vadas and allu chop (fried potato). Lunch had vegetarian biryani, rotis, and thalis. Dinner had rice and rotis and dhal. The restaurant attracts a huge crowd. So the food is fresh but getting a table to eat is a problem. The room rates are reasonable. The hotel accepts credit cards. But do not forget to get mineral water bottles from an outside shop as those supplied in the room are very costly. Travel desk outsourced cars for hire. It is better to finalise the rate before accepting. And do have a tie-up with the hotel to make the payment to the hotel instead of to the driver. And do book over the phone and confirm your reservation before you reach the hotel. The hotel does not have wifi or internet access.
