My father, sister and I enjoyed a quiet and peaceful stay at Palmleaves at the beginning of January. A dip in the pool surrounded by palm trees was very relaxing, followed by a spot of sunbathing on the terrace. The beach and sea are only a stones throw from the hotel. The rooms are comfortable with the French doors giving easy access to the pool and terrace area. Mathew and his wife were extremely accommodating and hospitable, making our short stay very enjoyable.

Visited this place after reading some glowing reviews here . The place is very quiet & beach is nice , beautiful . The good points end there. The rooms are filthy & dust filled . You will end up with wheezing if you are a prone person.
The food was atrocious & service very poor . We didn't wait for the complimentary breakfast .
Don't go to this place if you have another option .They just fleece your money.

I stayed at the Palmleaves Beach Resort for 4 days, it was very quiet and laid back place to be. Really nothing to do other than being at the beach and i needed just that. Hotel is beautifully surrounded by palm trees with the Arabian sea right outside your window, pretty peaceful hearing the ocean in your room. Hotel manager and staff are very nice and helpful, very stress free. Hotel rooms are spacious and clean but basic, Just don’t eat or snack in the room if you don’t want to a line of red ants coming for your crumbs.

Staff went above and beyond to assist with my many and varied needs, unfailingly politely. This placed is a hidden gem. Lovely pool, right outside my patio. Gorgeous, wide, quiet, palm-lined beach just beyond the pool. Could hear the soothing waves from my room. Breakfast is complimentary. Dinner was reasonably priced...actually lower than I'd expect and far from exploitative, despite the isolation. This is not a luxury hotel, but what you might expect from a quaint village miles from a small city...quiet, relaxed, local-flavored, native foods. Refrigerator in the room.
Took a ~15min tuk tuk to do some shopping nearby.
Great A/C! So many thanks to the helpful and friendly staff. Looking forward to returning!

Room Tip: Ocean view room recommended!

The pick-up from the airport, was as expected. But, coming to this place was a bit of a disappointment. An ugly room, dark, without any functional air condition. It did not feel superclean either. Wi-fi didn’t work either. I had to borrow a mobile connection from the reception. The pool was Really dirty.... i would not go in there. It is Right on the beach though, but a beach filled with plastic and other rubbish didn’t make you want to stay there... The surroundings, also Filled with rubbish. There is a huge clean up rubbish problem in India, that would be a Big thing for the goverment to take care of. Starting at early Age.... i would not rekommenderas this hotel since i dont think the Price correspond at all with the expectations.
