This is a charming place, no doubt. But for what is charged, one would expect a more functional infrastructure - missing shower curtains, damp walls, leaky faucets, spotty mirrors, swimming pool off limits - all these can turn one off. I would say they are riding the locale luck a bit too far.

On the bright side, view and locale are stunning. Amidst dense jungle, you will feel one with nature and rejuvenated. But I am not sure if there is much to be done other than sitting in the balcony and basking in the laps of nature. The buffet breakfast was sumptuous and tasty.

A pile of meh. The walls are crumbling (with electrical wires poking out), the WiFi is frustratingly, constantly awful in room and lobby, the pool was shut for half the time (and lonely and freezing the rest of the time), the tub leaked and the toilet had a large spider, the TV didn't work properly, we got bad advice on transfers and activities and ended up spending more time at a different resort. That said, a nice view, the prices were reasonable and the restaurant staff were very nice and accommodating.

Though clean, this resort is tired and run down. It needs extensive maintenance and cosmetic refurbishment. The facilities are old (our bath leaked all over the floor) and there are bare electrical wires poking out from a broken wall on an exterior pathway. The curtains hang off their hooks and the shower curtain is mouldy. The staff in the restaurant are nice and helpful, but the front desk staff left a lot to be desired. They encouraged us to book an expensive tour for the whole family (including our children, 8 and 6) in the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary that we would have had to abandon as the park only admits children age 12 and over. They also books an aggressive driver to pick us up. Not a great experience. Avoid until they have a refurb or change of management. Much nicer places around.

I stayed this holiday season in this property. Excellent view and great place to stay. Also staffs were really helpful. Specifically Mr. Srikant and Mr Fahat helped us in case of emergency situation. Really appreciate their help.

Overall had great time.

A long drive from alleppey to thekkady, we reached wild corridor by 6pm. The property looked spacious , with a great valley forest view.

The rooms were decent, balcony fantastic! The services however , really need improvement. There was a tv that didn't work. We called maintenance , but the guy left without fixing it. The internet didn't connect anywhere. When we went to the reception to complain , we saw that each and every room was complaining About the same things. Also, there was a light on a bedroom that would switch on and off on its own.

The food was above average. We ordered room service , as the buffet looked very depressing. Breakfast buffet was decent.

Overall, a nice property with a great view. But try get some entertainment for yourself because the Internet and tv may not work.
