We stayed in this hotel as a couple for two days while visiting Tekkady. We booked the presidential suite. We were bit disappointed about the room as we didn't feel the presidential element in the room. The room was only average which we can avail for a cheaper rate.

However the room offers a wonderful view of the Tekkady tiger reservoir. Wall facing the reservoir is completely made of glass. Room is spacious and roofing & its lighting looks good. Room was clean apart from the bed sheets which we felt little dusty. Wi-Fi has no range in presidential suite. It is the top most floor. Their was a leak from the side of roof as it was raining heavily and droplets of water was splashing on the floor. As per discussed with one of the other traveler who stayed in Royal Suite, Royal Suite & Presidential Suite are almost same, there is not much difference (The view, Furniture & other amenities).

Room service was quick and all our requests were attended immediately. Restaurant was well furnished and the food was satisfactory. Hotel located very near to the wildlife sanctuary. And the staff offered all help in getting tickets for boating and other activities. The hotel have their own transport if any guest choosing for a trip to “Gavi” which is another tourist place situated 40-45 kms from Tekkady.

Room tip: Royal suites & Presidential suite have good view of the forest.

The hotel location is very good. The rooms are having good interior. Hotel lobby is beautiful.
However the room size is small. is ideal only for 2 adults. The food quality is average. Room service needs improvement.

Room tip: Enquire with the hotel if they have larger rooms.

Dear Patron,

Greetings from Hotel Tigers Roare’!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We look after concerns of our guests as a priority in our Customer Care Drive and take action promptly in areas that require improvement. It is only through feedback such as yours that we are able to continually monitor and improve our operations and standards.
As you know our Imperial Standard room is compact for a couple, if you had felt it is small you should have taken a higher category room like Royal Deluxe or Elite Honey Moon.

Hope you will give us another opportunity to serve you. Looking forward to your next visit.

We certainly value all your comments and compliments.

Best Regards,
Guest Relation Executive

The best part about this place is its proximity to the Periyar Tiger Reserve! The room is compact and quite comfortable. The view from the executive room is not that great...Jungle room more preferable, since it faces the jungle. Although my room...i was able to spot a Samba dear. Food is good....plus there are few games in d lobby like carom board and other cards games. I paid 900rs for a day through Oyo rooms....so it was worth it! Overall good place
