It's an upmarket place, both quality and the crowd. Family crowd being the most, with good quality coastal delicacies and separated smoking area

During my stay in Mangalore,I visited this restaurant twice and I should say it's one of the best in Mangalore. This is not only in terms of its excellent food, but also it's tastefully done decor, friendly staff and reasonable pricing. Offering valet parking services, it also takes care of the parking problem, keeping in view the fact that it is located at the heart of the city.
Mangalore being a coastal town, it offers a lot of variety in terms of sea food and there are many places catering solely to the sea food lovers. But it is difficult to find a place offering veg and non veg, where both are equally good. And so Pallkhi scores a 100 in this. We tried a variety of dishes as it was a big gathering. I especially liked the spinach cottage cheese soup, the cashew rice, mutton pepper fry, crackling spinach cottage cheese and the different mocktails on offer.
All in all, a wonderful experience...

Most Mangaloreans know and adore this place. We've been going to this place for years now and though the signature dishes have evolved over the years, it still is one of our personal favorites to go as a family. The chatpata chicken, mutton banarasi, lasooni fish tikka and lung fung soup are my all time favorite dishes.
