Bagh- e-Bahu is a good attraction in Jammu city where one can have a awesome view of Jammu city. It has a beautiful garden which is maintained very well. Good fountains with lightings and laser shows are one of the major highlights of Bagh-e Bahu. It has a fort in which a kali mata temple is built popularly known as Bawe wali mata temple. An aquarium in the form of fish is a good attraction at the place. One can have the view of Har ki Pauri temple from the fort in the daylight. This bahu fort can be seen from all over jammu city.

Oh, for space-deprived Mumbaite like me, this was an absolutely amazingly expansive place! Wonderful!
Given its heighted location, it provides a wonderful view of the river and the city of Jammu. Very picturesque.
It also has an exotic collection of flowers, so do visit with some time on hand, instead of a rushed one.
A must visit for every tourist!

The gardens should really be seen during the day but my evening there was very special. Very few people about, there was fragrance in the air from night-flowering shrubs. The evening view of Jammu city in the distance made it look exotic and nicer than it really is. Also, cooler in the evening and because of some breeze. Do try and visit whilst in Jammu.

Situated 5 kms away from the city centre, Bahu Fort stands on a rock face on the left bank of the river Tawi. Perhaps the oldest fort and edifice in the city, it was constructed originally by Raja Bahulochan over 3,000 years ago. The existing fort was more recently improved upon and extended by the Dogra rulers. Inside, there is a temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali. An extensive terraced garden, known as Bagh-e-Bahu, has been developed around the fort.
