Review of Nature's Pantry

Nature's Pantry
Ranked #21 of 96 Restaurants in Alamogordo
Description: Nature's Pantry has been operating as the largest health food store in Alamogordo since 1996. It is our desire to educate the local community on health and nutrition as well as provide the best source for quality vitamins, minerals, herbs and grocery products available on the market today. Each of our employees participates in ongoing nutrition and supplement education in order that we may provide the most current as well as accurate information to our customers. Employees also participate in health fairs and trade shows that are sponsored by leaders in the industry in order to stay aware of new products being developed. Nature's Pantry carries nationally known brands such as Garden of Life, Nutraceutical, Now, Twinlabs and Nature's Plus. We search to find the safest, highest quality products and make them available in our store. Literature, including books, on diet, herbology, homeopathy and conquering disease naturally are available. There are many products to choose from to assist those with allergy, gluten, diabetes and weight challenges. Our lunch counter features sandwiches, wraps, soup and salads. The items are made from fresh ingredients and made to order. Homemade muffins and freshly baked breads are also available. Frozen yogurt and smoothies are a favorite. We have great coffee and espresso drinks and free Wi-Fi. Orders can be called in or placed to go. The deli hours are from 11 AM to 3 PM Monday - Saturday. Nature's Pantry has many natural and organic health and beauty products. We also have pet products so you can provide healthy and nutritional choices for the entire family.

Very fast pace place. The waitress talked so fast, we had no idea what she said. The menu really was poorly written. Unless you were a regular, you had no idea what was included in what you ordered. The food was average though for breakfast

We have had lunch there a few times now and always come away very pleased with our selection. Food is fresh made with all natural ingredients. Soups are devine and the sandwiches are mighty tasty! We buy local honey there, also! Staff is very friendly and helpful!

This isn't one of those fancy new age organic shops. It's simple menu product packaging and atmosphere make it credible to an extent. I had a turkey wrap and a strawberry shake. It was light but satisfied my appetite and I don't feel stuffed. Highly recommend!

We first discovered Nature's Pantry in 2003 when it was tucked away downtown, and loved the blast-from-the-past vegetarian diner. It is now located in a new building on the main drag thru Alamogordo, and while not as charming as the old place, it is a nice store with all the fun/interesting/good products stocking the shelves. A salute to the owners, who have a successful health food store in this region (it ain't Santa Fe:). Always interesting to hear a story from one of the clerks (if they are up for it) and be sure to ask for your Sr. (55+) discount per their web site (www.mynaturespantry.com).

This is the natural foods store for the area. Not just for vegan either. They have organic raised beef, great gluten free and all the natural supplements you could want.
