This place is nice & close to the beach but far from the pier. It is clean & nice & quiet. The staff were very helpful. They offer breakfast & dinner if you want. The stores are not very far. Beautiful sunset view from the beach.

Very nice hotel, with great rooms, a nice pool and the best breakfast! :) Folks working there sooo friendly, really Polynesian hospitality with a French touch! Location a little out of the way, but that means it is close to the beach, and cars can easily and affordable be rented at the hotel! Would stay again there if coming back to Tahiti!

We arrived late and our host cooked us dinner since the restaurants were closed. We shared stories and chatted like we were longtime friends. We felt so welcome and at home after a long day of travel. We would go back in a heartbeat.

After a long trip we stayed one night at relais fenua.
It s a family pension with lot of charme. Very clean and good beds.
We can recommend it to stay!
There is a shop nearby and in the evening you have a food truck or a pizzeria. (We went to the foodtruck and it was very good)

I stayed here as a solo traveller for 3nights after a 7 day kayaking trip in Raiatea.
I arranged pick up and drop off from airport at extra cost but there is also a very cheap local bus that runs past the entrance daily except Sunday.
The room was perfectly adequate with private facilities and a cool shaded out door area, both air con and a ceiling fan in the room.
I choose this accommodation because it was extremely affordable compared to other places in Tahiti and because the owners spoke English as well as French.
Breakfast was included and there was a local shop about 150m down the road to buy any other supplies as well as several roulottes also within 150m for evening meals and a snack bar across the road.
There is a very small pool with two deck chairs but it is very central so not very private for lounging.
There are two beaches also within 150-200m - one is large and nice white sand and also very popular the other is more rocky and I found this was a good beach to go for a snorkel from.
SUP boards and kite surfers were available to rent at the beaches.
While there is a fridge in the room there was no jug to make a hot drink or cutlery/plates/cups to use for purchased food.
The owners were very pleasant and helpful.
Also free and good WIFI

Room tip: I had a room right next to reception so not very private - perhaps some of the rooms further back in the area would have been more private.
