We travelled as a family group of nine, including two disabled children. We arrived at 9:45pm feeling exhausted and tried to check in. We have travelled widely and expected this to be a simple exercise, a very rude man behind the desk shuffled papers for 45 mins, until I asked to speak to the manager. He arrived and said there had obviously been a mix up, two of the rooms were okay but they didn't appear to have a reservation for my husband and myself and even though we had all the correct vouchers and booking details they would not allow us to stay in the hotel until we booked a room for the night. They wouldn't even let us make a phone call and the situation was only rectified the following morning when my husband contacted our agents. Definitely not impressive treatment.
Overall the rooms are clean but every single day I had to chase the room boy looking for towels something I have never had to do before. The drinks in the fridge were only replaced three times in a two week stay. There is no hospitality tray in the rooms so you can't make a hot drink either. The toiletries in the bathroom don't get replaced and we had to resort to pinching toilet rolls from the public areas for use in our rooms.
The pool areas are clean and the children loved the water park but don't try and get a drink at the pool bar, the record was a 39 minute wait and it isn't the waiters fault there just isn't enough staff.
The food is very very poor quality and boring, it is aimed at the local people so you won't find anything you recognise or anything that looks vaguely tasty. Food is not replenished when trays are empty. The menu is almost the same every day. We lived on toast, bread and watery soup. The desserts were nice and a self service so we filled up those.
It is really a shame because this hotel could be a real 5star hotel, they just need to train their reception staff not to be so rude, they need to get their housekeeping sorted and spend a bit more on food.

The first thing to comment on is ensure your tour operator confirms the £25 per person VISA cost for the privilege of visiting hurgada. Ensure you have the funds ready as not all ATM machines work at the airport. On arrival we were placed in a room down the far end of the complex, on opening the door we noticed the room had not been cleaned, the ash tray was full, the waste bin next to the toilet was filled. The fridge was broken, as was the television. 1 bed for 3 people. On phoning the front office they confirmed yes we know. We had been on the go since 8am and finally were placed in a different room at 12.30am the fiollowing morning. Due to the time there were no snacks available (oh sorry unless you wanted some cucumber).

Rooms.
Were disgusting, old and dated. Bathrooms were terrible. Shower leaked through the tiles so our floor flooded. Everything was old and rusty in our bathroom. With built up limescale and mildew. Every other day we had to phone for either drinks, minibar was not filled at all, toilet roll which was not replaced and took an hour to be sent some when I called.. We were given one towel between three people. Occasionally we were given two towels but this consisted of a towel which had been cut in half with scissors and you could match up the ragged ends to show they went together. Rough old discoloured towels. Our cleaner would change the duvet covers but then leave the duvets in a crumpled heap at the foot of the bed as if it had just been slept in.
The room was never clean so we always walked around the room with flipflops on.

Pools
Accident waiting to happen. Incredibly slippery everywhere. Tiles broken and loose and just placed back where they should have been cemented in. Please do not run or allow children to run anywhere. The bridges and surrounding areas of the pools are so slippery. I lost count of the amount of adults and children who slipped and fell during our two weeks there. Please wear flip flops the minute you leave the pool.

The young pool cleaner was great and did his best but the pools weren't clean, mainly due to the native guests at night Chucking the leftover chicken bones and other food items into the pool and surrounding areas.

Pool bar was hit and miss for cold drinks. Sometimes incredibly watered down Sprite and coke.other times was warm and in in 40plus degrees not great.the beer was horrible incredibly gassy.

Food.
The food was terrible. Rice, burnt macaroni and chicken that had been hacked to pieces rather than carved for maximum meat content. The same every day. Puddings looked lovely but tasted exactly the same regardless of colour of sponge or frosting. One fryer for chips for children so be warned can take 30minutes to get a plate of chips in the evening. During lunch the Chinese is the only place to get chips for children and then have to be taken into main restaurant. We booked a la carte during our stay only to have reports of hour waits for food and then cold food. We arrived one night for an 8.30 sitting to still be stood outside at 8.50 waiting to be seated and this before ordering or having the meal cooked. Thank god for McDonald's 5 minutes down the road. It was our saviour. I was ill for a week of our two week stay and I eat and enjoy anything you could cook anywhere in the world.

For souvenirs and food such as crisps,chocolate,biscuits etc, do not buy from the shops onsite. £3 for a bag of walkers crisps. The supermarket where mcdonalds is located is fantastically priced for all food items and souveniers. Walkers crisps 15p per pack.

Beach.
Sand was made up of sharp grit and shingle. Defo need beach shoes to enjoy fully.

Snorkelling was great.

From speaking to other Brits who have been travelling to Egypt for 8 plus years sadly Sharm is the place to go. Not one person we spoke to will return to hurgada and certainly not the titanic beach and Aqua. Brit families were trying to move after one nights stay in this hotel. It's that bad.

Having spent time in both 4 and 5 star resorts elsewhere around the world. this is a maximum of 2-3.

Please do not waste your money, not person we met enjoyed their stay here.

On the plus side the weather was 5 star and the inky thing that kept us going.

Do not beliee the bogus 5 star reviews. You have been warned.

This was our first visit to Hurghada and to this resort and overall we really enjoyed our holiday. First of all the aqua park is great with a huge selection of slides and activities for all ages - our kids couldn't get enough. On the minus side the food isn't so great - long queues, repetitive food every day and staff not so interested in providing service to the guests.
The hotel location is so so - the nearby Senzo Mall is around 5 minutes by taxi and it was nice sometimes just to wander around in the air conditioning and escape the heat of Egypt in July. They have a good selection of local and international clothing brands plus cafes and restaurants too. Other places (mamsha, Sheraton street) 20-30 mins by car.
As we became bored by the lack of variety of food at the hotel, we sometimes had to go out to dinner just to enjoy our holiday more.
We were disappointed by the hotel shuttle service and annoyed by the local taxi hassle outside the hotel and high prices so we booked our own private taxi and luckily in Hurghada this can be arranged for a low price. We used a company called 'Sharm Wonders' who provided cheap prices and a reliable service. We contacted them on their WhatsApp which we found on their website and called them - simple. In the evenings booked a car to take us around to different points of interest. We went to Mamsha (a big shopping street with bars and restaurants), Sheraton Street (old Hurghada streets with shops for local people and tourists - good for bargains) and Hurghada New Marina which we liked the most - it's new, has a great variety of restaurants and bars in a beautiful setting next to the yachts and boats all lit up at night.
Overall Titanic Beach is good for families - big aqua park and comfortable rooms but the service and food could be better.

- Taitanic Aqua Park is beyond expectations, Services are all remarkable especially Aqua park & Rooms excilancy , All Staf members/ Subordinates are eager to represent a unique, satisfaction especially for internal tourism ( Egyptian guests ) however the hotel is fully occupied with Germans / Russians all the season.

- the Senior managements are fabulous in showing such a professional level of dedication , even in extra favors outside the hotel all over Ghurgada & Sahel Hashish services.

- me & my family recommend to rank the hotel internationally.

We arrived on the 21/7/17 quite late in the evening with our 7 year old and 17 month old, first thing we were given were forms to fill out name passport number etc... We were then given our room key and was told to find the room, no other information or if we could get food or where to get a drink just basically see you later..
Once we got to our room thus is where the disappointment started, the room was filthy, cigarette ends in ash tray, dirty dirty toilet and bathroom, fridge didn't work front door didn't even close from inside, I'd already emailed hotel previous to our arrival requesting a cot but all we had was a standard double bed for the 4 of us . My husband went back up to reception to to ask to be moved to another room but the very helpful (not) receptionist Walid said its not my problem or job description. He was just rude and didn't want to help. My husband then spoke to Samir the assistant manager who said we couldn't move until the following day, he again requested a cot.. On his return from reception my husband had to find his way back to room ,we were down near the beach /aqau park which is in virtual darkness, he was walking on the footpath then next minute fell 3ft into lazy river. He had to swim in darkness to try to get out now soaking wet and broken phone. We just thank god he wasn't pushing the buggy or had our daughter with him.. (On closer inspection the following day we found the safety rope was missing and laying on the floor to stop you from walking into the lazy river). We had to stay in the dirty room all night with our suitcases pushed up against the front door and baby had to sleep in pushchair because no cot arrived.
The following morning we waited in reception to talk to the general manager. He seemed nice at first promised our room would be sorted straight away ,this was just talk our room didn't get sorted until nearly 3pm and he just wasn't concerned at all about my husband falling into lazy river. That night we took GM down to where this had happened showed him the safety rope on the floor he said he would sort it ,but it was still laying on the floor 2weeks later and probably still is.. He said there was light which was moonlight and that was sufficient..what a joke! In the evening the Aqua park is in darkness , you walk through this to get to the entertainment in theater so just be careful especially with kids because there is nothing to stop you falling in the pools. Only real complaint about our new room was we constantly found worms in the shower other than this it was ok to sleep in.
Regarding pools they are cleaned in mornings but to be honest need a good scrub, around the pool bar people have actually written there names in the scum line and of a night you can see all the dirt and rubbish floating on top of the water. Aqua park does get very busy ,it has some good slides but river Rapids only work for 40 mins a day (2 x 20 mins ) which is bit disappointing. Wave pool wasn't working at all because a child had drowned in there the week we arrived, I'm surprised there are not more accidents with the lack of safety in this hotel.
Food was appalling in the main 2 restaurants it's very repetitive and always cold you will only find a queue for chips and pasta. We did have a nice Chinese meal this was cooked by chef Sherif who is lovely and well worth a mention. The Mexican in palace side was also good. The Lebanese is terrible the food not cooked properly my husband was ill for 2 days just glad me and my daughter didn't eat any of it, the waiter in charge Amr has a really bad attitude. Beach bar restaurant is like a cattle market with only 2chefs preparing and serving they definitely need more staff here at lunch. Other than that there is a nice McDonald's at the senso mall down the road. Also it decreasedm is only served at lunch and dinner time if you want it inbetween you have to pay for it.
Evening entertainment was ok but not great, it would be nice to have more entertainment around the pool bar in evenings and not just the 1night that it currently is (Wednesday night singer). Other than this you have to walk through dark Aqua park to theater on the beach. Would've been nice to have some of the kids songs in English.
We found Aseem , Gerges and Mohamed (usually in operator room) on reception really nice and helpful the rest of the staff were rude and useless, management don't seem to give a dam also Olga on guest relations was horrid, she obviously has OCD and found it acceptable to shout and tell my 7 year old daughter off for literally putting her hand on her desk, I find this unacceptable and out the of order making my child upset for putting her hand on a table , not very nice woman. Most of the staff only give you the time of day if your throwing money at them, we did tip people but not so they'd say hello to us.
This hotel should definitely only be 2/3 star rated by Egyptian standards. All we can say is thank goodness for the wonderful weather.

Room Tip: Book a room in a different hotel.
