“Great Breakfast”

Fishin' Pier Grille
Ranked #4 of 66 Restaurants in Avalon
Certificate of Excellence
Cuisines: Seafood
Description: Rick and Sue's adventure on 7 Mile Island began 27 years ago when they took over the Fishin' Pier Grille located on 32nd Street in Avalon. The husband and wife duo's love affair with restaurants still runs strong after all these years as they continuously enjoy seeing the familiar faces of returning customers as well as the new comers each summer. Rick and Sue's grown children, Nicole Jones and Eric Montanari, are happily joining their parents in this new adventure of opening the Fishin' Pier Grille South in Stone Harbor this upcoming Spring. The family is looking forward to bringing the same reputation of great taste, service, and charm to their new breakfast spot.

Located at the start of the Avalon Boardwalk. It's a smallish place with a large kitchen and friendly, efficient staff. We were a party of ten seated on time on Sunday am.
Great fluffy omelettes (try the "Jersey"- fresh tomatoes and cheese). Pancakes were also excellent.Coffee was good and we had a great breakfast and conversation. Reasonable prices ( cash only!) We wIll be back.

As u walk by the lines at Uncle Bill's u keep going down 32nd St and u end up at the beach patrol. You say there is no restaurant here until u follow the wooden path behind the bushes and there likes the best kept secret in Avalon. It's a locals haven for breakfast where the omelettes are so well made there is not a bite without something yummy. There are no more than 10 tables plus some counter space. Friendly, family run place that was amazing.
It's cash only.
"No you may not..."
It's on the back of every shirt because this joint is located right before the pier where only members of the Avalon fishing club can go...you may not!

Cash only.

We have been going to the Fishing Pier everyone we are on vacation in New Jersey. The food is always exceptional, the young waiters and waitresses are friendly and gracious and the owners are great!

Creative menu and exceptional quality!

People come here for the memories and location but the food, although served in generous portions, is expensive like everything in this vacation town. Had the Creamed Chipped Beef which was served over Fried Potatoes--potatoes greasy and the creamed beef was tasteless. Daughter had a standard fried egg breakfast with bacon and potatoes and toast--okay. Wife had a grilled Cinnamon Roll which was pretty good. Service prompt and cheery.

Nice diner type restaurant. We ordered 3 different omelettes all were extremely greasy/buttery/oily. Will probably not go back. They all had great potential. Generous portions. Cash only.
