Nice clean hotel located right in the centre of town, very close to most things you would want. Some rooms face into the courtyard which I am sure is much quieter than facing onto the street. WiFi *usually* worked in the rooms, but (like it seems everywhere else in the Galapagos) not always. Breakfast was fine (fruit, cereal, eggs, toast, ham and cheese), although a bit dull after 5 days. Nice terrace on top floor. Staff competent and friendly. Good large shower and large rooms with AC.

Room Tip: I am sure it's quieter in the rooms that face into the courtyard.

Loved this place. Had the hotel pick us up, for a fee, at the airport. Nice hotel, very centrally located in Puerto Ayora. Clean room, the few issues were taking care of very quickly. Free WiFi and Breakfast was a plus. Great breakfast, very gourmet. Close to the Kiosk street and other amenities. Walking distance to restaurants. Sometimes a little loud at night but manageable. Simple room but clean, no refrigerator or mini bar in the room.

Staying 4 nights in this good located hotel, we have a great time in Galápagos Islands. It is close to shops , restaurants and the wharf. The room is neat and tidy. The staffs are very friendly and helpful too. The tea, coffee and water station on each floor is really a bonus. At the back of the hotel is a hostel. If you are on a budget, it is another good option.

This hotel is located in Puerto Ayora, on the island of Santa Cruz. The Galápagos Islands are a wonderful place and the hotel a good point to stay and to start your explorations. One reason for criticism though: giving that most excursions start at 7 a.m., breakfast should begin at 6, not at 6.30 as is currently the case.

We stayed for 7 nights at the hostel area at the back and we mostly enjoyed our stay.

Pros:
- STAFF: really really nice and helpful
- location is perfect: 2 min to main street; 4 to the pier
- price is very good for the location, 28 $ double room
- breakfast was alright and a lot (for additional 6 $)
- a nice little garden with plants and little trees makes it feel homely
- hot showers
- room was cleaned every day, new towels every day!! And also blankets were changed after several days

Cons:
- bathroom was in the room and the upper part (approx. A third of the wall) was open.. therefore no real privacy in the bathroom and after several days the room smelled bad due to the toilet or the drain
- it's also pretty obvious that the hostel has had a couple of years; floors, walls, curtains etc. A little run down (but for 28 $ a night its totally fine!)
- the doors are made of glas with a curtain in front.. therefore noise from outside
- at night it was pretty loud. If there was not somebody watching TV EXTREMLY!!! loud, cats were meowing quite loud all night! The walls are not that we'll isolated so that you can hear everything from the next room..
- wifi was pretty slow (but I think that's the case on the whole islands); it was a little better close to the reception

overall, we would stay here again. The price is unbeatable for galapagos and we felt welcomed there!
