We stayed in the hotel in late July (off season), and had a pleasurable experience. We had a room on the exterior of the hotel vs. room with a pool view (which some say can get loud in season), and loved the view. There were three adults and we had three twin beds which was convenient. At check in, there was a mix up with number of days one of us would stay but as we had our Expedia itinerary with us, it was cleared up quickly. Breakfast was nice, and I enjoyed the fact that they didn't waste food; on lower volume days food was not buffet style, so as to cut down on waste. Each night there was a little lizard in our room, but the poor thing would escape to the ceiling to to get away from us. But it was a nice little reminder that in the Galapagos, animals rule, and humans are not the first priority. The hotel was clean, and the location was totally great. Our A/C worked perfectly, I think we were in room 30. The shower water was hot, which was a lovely surprise. WiFi was poor, but we were not in the Galapagos, trip of a lifetime, for Instagram.

Room Tip: One would assume rooms on interior of hotel (over looking pool) can be noisy in season.

The title says most of what I have to say. Not an unenjoyable stay and the best hotel we stayed in in the Galapagos. However, as we turned off the street to reach the hotel there was a smell of sewage and although I know this was not the hotel's fault it was not a good first impression.

The room was the best we had in the Galapagos yet the shower was either too hot or too cold and the whole room seemed to be falling apart with a polystyrene area next to the air conditioner instead of a wall.

Burnt fried eggs for breakfast and to get a drink from the bar you had to go to the reception and ask for one. However, in spite of this, it was not a bad few days and the staff were friendly.

Room Tip: Test the temperature of the shower before you get in

Within walking distance to/from the ferry, Charles Darwin, grocery store, shops and restaurants! The breakfast was excellent and everyone who worked there was polite and helpful. The pool was a lot of fun after a long day exploring. Excellent views from rooms and there were great patios from which to relax, have a drink and enjoy the views. Would absolutely stay here again!

Room Tip: ask for room on third floor- larger patios and better views.

Friendly staff and good breakfast. But it stops there.. The cleaning of the rooms was not the best, hair and dirt in the shower. And we have a fire inflow in our socket. Not a good expirience, but all in all the hotel is ok.

This is a really clean, convenient hotel. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms quite large by Ecuadorian standards and I enjoyed the restaurant. The view from the upstairs rooms, where there was a large patio for sitting, was very pretty and I enjoyed it very much. There are two pools to enjoy as well as a pool table. The kids in our group grabbed up sticks and immediately got into a game. It's a nice touch. It's a pretty long (up hill!!!) walk to the Darwin Center but an old fat girl like me made it so most others could manage it fairly easily. But the hotel is VERY convenient to restaurants, fish market, and shopping. It was fun! The only drawbacks were: no elevator (remember: old fat girl) and the staff doesn't have the best handle on English but thats ok!! Ecuador is a SPANISH speaking country. Just a little joke. The staff was very nice and tried their best to accommodate us. I enjoyed this hotel very much and would recommend it.
