We've passed by this restaurant a number of times while in Asbury Park, and decided to try it while with friends. It was a wonderful experience, from the hospitable servers to the lovely decor and great food and drinks. The Green Tea Sangria was great -- not too sweet and went well with the mains. Sushi was creative and very unusual, clearly fresh. We also enjoyed the vegetable tempura appetizer, very light and good flavor. For my main I had the salmon, which was prepared perfectly and had a barbeque sauce (like hoison). We would definitely recommend Taka and would return for a special meal as it was a pricier dinner but very high in quality.
