We arrived in time for happy hour with a group of eight people for a holiday celebration. We arrived early enough to soak up the ambiance of the bar area which had a superb holiday festive atmosphere. We did have drinks and small bar snacks. This restaurant does not accept reservations or call ahead. Parking is at a meter that accepts currency or credit and is reasonable in off season. The dining area is up stairs but there is also an elevator for those in need. Our meal was appetizers, main courses and desserts. Drinks were also refreshed through out the evening. Most of what we ordered was seafood with lamb chops and duck, which were specials for the day. I had a baked seafood combination with clam chowder and both were very good.
Our server was a very young good looking lady who was one of the best at her job. She was attentive, friendly and very efficient. Desserts were shared and also very good. The ambiance in this restaurant at this time of the year is exceptional.

Came here for our anniversary dinner, as it was one of the few nice places still open at the Shore during the winter. Although it was frigid outside, the restaurant was warm and cozy, and very nicely decorated for the holidays. It was a weekend night, but we arrived right when they opened and were seated immediately.
I had the grilled branzino special, with a rice/couscous mix and mixed vegetables. It was a large fillet, perfectly cooked, with a delicious tomato/cilantro/caper relish, mixed vegetables, and an unusual rice/couscous mix. The medley of flavors all worked perfectly together. My hubby chose the Country Style Rigatoni from their seasonal menu. He raved over the pasta, which was a hearty stew with chicken, sausage, broccoli and white beans. We splurged on crème brule and tiramisu for dessert, along with some fantastic coffee.
Everyone at Moonstruck, from the hostess at the front desk, to our server, was friendly, attentive and very competent. All in all, it was a great dinner and we plan on coming back.

We’ve been here many times for drinks in the summer months. It’s quite busy then but still very nice.
Finally tried upstairs for dinner,it was an excellent dining experience. Service was great . Food was terrific . We both had fish and it was prepared to perfection. This time of year it’s less crowded and you can really relax and enjoy. You will not be disappointed .

Came here with friends on a Saturday nite in December. They don’t take reservations but have a nice bar area with fireplace to wait and order drinks and appetizers. We waited about an hour. Upstairs restaurant was elegant and not at all noisy. We had a middle table but if we were sitting near s window it would have been a nice view.
The beef kabob skewer appetizer was very tasty and my bronzino entree was also good tho not exceptional. I tasted the hangar steak and it, too, was good. The dessert of meringue and ice cream and caramel sauce was tasty tho the meringue was a bit hard. All in all it was a bit pricey but good.

Everything about Moonstruck is special. It's been that way since opening. The venue is classy and beautiful, Luke is beyond wonderful and the service is superb. Tonight they were serving a branzino special. I have had this delicious fish in many restaurants in New York, New Jersey and Italy. Tonight's meal was the absolute best branzino I have ever tasted. From beginning to end our meals were extraordinary. My husband's duck was excellent too.
Thank you for a perfect dinner. You never disappoint!
