We stayed here for three nights as part of a Columbia hiking tour with Backroads. We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. The accommodations are 'charming' - hacienda style furniture, wooden floors and ceilings, but with updated bathrooms.
There is no A/C in the rooms, but we didn't really feel we needed it. It is a bit warm, but it is better than having a cold draft blowing on your neck all day.
Grounds, restaurant and pool are all well maintained and clean. Mostly a very peaceful hotel (yes, it is in the flight path, but it didn't seem too bad).
As others mentioned, look out for the rugs. They are very slippery. After the first night we just put the rugs in our room under our bed so we didn't need to worry about them.More
