If you're going to Cartagena, I suggest you to stay inside the Ciudad Amurallada (old town). You have the option to stay in Getsemani neighbourhood, but San Diego and Centro are much better and quieter, IMO. Given that, Casa Abril II turned out to be a great option.
Room: very good space overall, A/C (essencial in Cartagena!), wardrobe, locker, tv and a minibar with good prices.
Bathroom: a bit small but ok. Cold and hot water from the shower. Soap is provided but no shampoo. No hygienic shower.
Location: excellent! In a very quiet street in San Diego neighbourhood.
Staff: very helpful all the time.
Value: definitely a very good deal in that neighbourhood.
Cleaniness: room was very well cleaned everyday.
Cons: TV crashed on the 3rd night and wasn't fixed for the 4th and last night we were there. Wifi barely reached 3rd floor.More
