Probably the best location in Chengdu. Just round the corner from the shopping area. Chengdu is a great city with lots of shopping and fantastic restaurants. Many attractions within walking distance. Pick up a tour bus to the Chengdu Panda reserve- do not miss!!

First thought when I think back to this is that is dirty. We was not able to sleep comfortable in this hotel. There was even bottles from last guest in our hotel room. Every day we arrived to hotel there was many ads for prostitues slided under our door.
Great working wifi, but no English instructions on how to use it.
Bathrooms are nice, but rest of the hotel looks nothing like the pictures.
We were told that the breakfast coupon only was for one person and we had to pay if second person wanted breakfast. It did not turn out to be true. Breakfast consist of both Chinese and some western food.
Location of hotel is very nice in a side alley to a big shopping street.

We took 2 taxis from the airport and gave both drivers the same Chinese written address details.. One driver got us to a very small alleyway and pointed down it and the other driver dropped off completely in the other direction and there was a large mall that had to be negotiated and the hotel was on the other side of it...I saw very few cars near the actual hotel as it is difficult to get to, so expect to walk..

The check in was fine, but the check out was ridiculous.. None of the desk staff could speak
English and a guest had to help translate the discussions as they were trying to charge us way more than the internet booking that I had made, despite my paperwork being produced.

After more than 40 minutes of them talking to each other and calling multiple people, the boss was called. She did not come down, but spoke english on the telephone, and told me to pay the higher price and ask Agoda for a refund! She was very adamant and rude about all this and as we were now running very late after spending nearly an hour checking out and still yet to make our way down the alley and to the road to flag down a taxi, we took back our passports and left with the bill unpaid. (Knowing they had our credit card details anyhow and I could dispute it later with the bank etc if need be) I did however have a mild dread that when we arrived at the airport, they would hold us for bills unpaid! lol

There were a few other issues that should really not have been an issue.. We did not have any spare pillows and use to sleeping with 2 each, requested 2 additional pillows.. We had to ask several times and language was definitely an issue but when this was overcome, they bought one pillow and said there were NO more in the whole hotel..

We also were not a fan at all of breakfast.. Very little choice, HOT, not just warm, juice and no coffee or tea. When I asked for some coffee, they said they do not serve it.. To my delight, a girl came through the dining room 5 minutes later with a large tin of Nescafe' and asked how many cups we wanted.. Unfortunately our delight soured somewhat when she returned with cold coffee in a glass... Hmmmnnn.. Hot juice and cold coffee... Needless to say we did not go back there again for breakfast.

The room however was fine and comfortable, location good and there are several restaurants straight opposite with good, cheap food and several shops that sell beer.. just be careful how cold or warm it is as they vary greatly.

Nice and comfortable hotel even though its kind of difficult to find at first. Its actually very near to shopping location. Receptionist very helpful and attentive. Room very spacious and clean. Coffee and teas refills daily. We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel and housekeeping done daily. Good wifi connections available in each room. Breakfast no complaint even though having the same things for 3 days.
Its a recommendable hotel for families with children. Will definitely come back to stay in this hotel.

Cracking location for a hotel that really is at a budget price. Room is large with a comfy bed and top quality bathroom, great shower. Only had breakfast one day and as you would expect its geared towards the locals. I tried a bit of everything. Routers in every room so WiFi was good. English is a problem for the reception staff but we made ourselves understood. Enjoyed my stay immensely.
