Public areas and hotel room both extremely unclean. The smell of the drains in the bathroom was one of the worst I have ever smelt. The hotel is located on a main highway so even on the top floor you are disturbed by loud traffic noise.
Lady behind reception spoke absolutely no English but was still very helpful and we were able to communicate through translators and fortunately she had a sense of humour which made the check-in and check-out processes more bearable.
Construction work going on throughout the hotel contributed to the poor sanitary conditions and noise pollution. When we returned to our room in the afternoon the room hadn't been cleaned and even though we put the 'do not disturb' sign on the door the cleaner later came into the room without knocking!
There is not much by way of restaurants and attractions in the area and it's also far from the airport and bus stations. The hotel is not expensive but still overpriced for what you get. Wifi is okay for basic browsing but not much else.
It's just about bearable if you're there for one night only, but any longer and you MUST stay elsewhere.More
