This is definately not the best temple in China, not preety, not even well maintained, looks rundown.

Skip visiting this, find other temples to visit.

This is a very popular tourist attraction with locals and visiting Chinese. Try and avoid weekends and public holidays. Bustling with visitors and worshippers. It covers a large area and very little English is spoken and unlike other tourist sites not many signs in English. It is one of those places where an English speaking guide would probably enhance the visit.

It's a good place to visit. The temple is not so big but humble looking and the scenery inside is pretty too. Everyone can ring the big bell 3 times in a row for good luck (ticket fee is ¥5).

An interesting temple that actually has many old bits remaining that have not been over restored, the central tower is one of those bits. Many ancient bells are dotted around the area that are interesting in themselves.

Like all such places try to visit mid week and not on a public holiday in order to miss the crowds.

I did not expect much here - just another temple, but I was peasently surprised by the architecture and the beauty of this temple. Although we were here on a very busy SUnday afternoon an dthe temple was full with tourists (99% from China), it was still nice to to walk around in the temple and the surrounding little streets.
Also - the visitor stry to play all kind of "throwing coin games" at different parts o fthe temple - for good luck, I guess. Many visitors may may find thsi annoying, I found it funny and entertaining to watch.
The entry fee is 20 yuan for adults and 10 yuan for children (incl teenagers), which is reasonable for this place.
