Just stayed one night at Wyndham Grand Hotel. My wife and I overall enjoyed the room (which is spacious and with a very high ceiling) and the staff service (especially Miss Fanny Yang at the reception who is so helpful and attentive).
The swimming is efficient and the location is convenient within short walking district to the nearest metro station.
Recommend it for business and holiday purposes.

Booked this hotel as was recommended by a friend and was not disappointed! The location was good as it is nearby CoCopark and the main city area. We were kindly upgraded to a big room which had a large bathtub, great for relaxing during our weekend getaway from Hong Kong.

The bed was comfortable, temperature was great and the hotel facilities are good too. The gym is sufficient and the pool is nice, however did not want to pay to buy a swimming cap as we were not going to actually swim but just relax by the pool. The only downside i must say was the fact that there was a lot of construction going on which was quite disturbing, however I understand that can't be helped by the hotel.

Would definitely come back for another stay in the future!

The attitude of the staff was extremely bad. We requested no end-of-corner room when booking/paying for the room. We reminded the staff again while checking in but it turned out to be. We then went to the lobby again to clarify the situation and the staff said that if I had made that request on the Internet, it would have been reflected in the system and therefore it must be my fault. I then showed him the confirmation email with my specific request and the staff still insisted it is my fault.

It is a shame given the room itself is not bad but the experience is extremely bad. I could not understand how the staff could insist it is the client’s fault, especially after it is black and white on paper. Couldn’t have been more disappointed.

The Wyndham Grand is a 5* star hotel right ?
Well I had to phone 3 times to make a reservation because the staff didn't speak English .

The picture below may look like 5* food but it tasted like 1* , worse than street BBQ.
The beef was rubbery, the lamb was very fatty, the lobsters were good but 1 was served as if it were for my male partner and the other was "kid size", the oysters tasted as if they were off, the eggplant wasn't fully cooked and was bland, the sausage, ribs and shrimp were ok , and we weren't sure if it was markerel or sardines.
The beer was nice and free flowing .

We woke up with our stomachs hurting and having to use the bathroom.

The staff at Vintage Bar were nice and provided good service .

The screen to watch the match wasn't big and the volume during commercials was loud.

I stayed at a room on the executive floor, with about 500 sq ft in size and a really tall ceiling. The room is superior to many 5* Hotels nearby with a fraction of the price. The executive lounge and the restaurants are both a pleasant surprise. On the negative side, the location is slightly off, the lobby is average, lifts wait a little long.
