The Peninsula is a nice facility and the hotel still feels new. Rooms clean, modern, medium-sized, and very comfortable, bed is especially good and curtains are blackout. Flat screen TV with ok channel package. Legitimate 4-star for 2nd tier city. Professionally run and managed, although English-speaking is minimal. There are cheaper, similar options in center of Changping, but the Peninsula is situated off the commercial strip making it quieter for the most part, although here is a large KTV and bar in the building with music until about 1 a.m. Small, but good gym on top floor. Many other services on site. Breakfast mostly Asian food; lunch and dinner buffets good value. The building is deceptively big: many rooms face courtyard is you want extra quiet, and there appears to be a suite or club floor (unconfirmed).
