Having read the good reviews hubby and I decided to try Tru Blu for lunch.
Hubby ordered lok lak and I ordered a fish dish. The lok lak came out about 20mins before my dish did. Not only that, they brought the rice first without my main so the rice was cold by the time my main arrived. The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t anything to write home about.
We paid $10 for 2 mains which hubby thought was expensive considering the service/quality of the food. You also have to pay separately for the rice (the waiter did tell us about this before we ordered).
Overall we both were not that impressed. There are a lot of places in Siem Reap where you can eat better for less.
On the day we went there were a few locals who were having a very lively discussion in the restaurant. It wasn’t exactly the quiet and chilled out atmosphere that other reviewers wrote about.
