Having read the good reviews hubby and I decided to try Tru Blu for lunch.

Hubby ordered lok lak and I ordered a fish dish. The lok lak came out about 20mins before my dish did. Not only that, they brought the rice first without my main so the rice was cold by the time my main arrived. The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t anything to write home about.

We paid $10 for 2 mains which hubby thought was expensive considering the service/quality of the food. You also have to pay separately for the rice (the waiter did tell us about this before we ordered).

Overall we both were not that impressed. There are a lot of places in Siem Reap where you can eat better for less.

On the day we went there were a few locals who were having a very lively discussion in the restaurant. It wasn’t exactly the quiet and chilled out atmosphere that other reviewers wrote about.

Located away from the buzz of Siem Reap, this cafe would give you serenity that you never thought you wanted. The cafe offers scrumptious set of meals and coffee on mason jars. The crews are also very nice and accommodating. We came for lunch and was sad to see that not much people were there cos of it’s location so I thought of writing this to convince you guys to try this out!! :)

Came across this by accident, our hotel was not far away and we were looking around. An Khmer feel with a western twist. The local food was excellent and good size portions and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Try the spring rolls and Cambodian spiced meat both excellent as was my seafood fried rice.

Very stylish and relaxing! Multiple options: terrace outside, very nice lounge area semi-outside and and airconditioned bar/restaurant inside. Extremely nice people -family runned- prepare high quality food, both Cambodjan and western against very reasonable prices. They serve fish Amok with fresh Tonle Sap fish ($5) and tasty stakes, prepared on the BBQ outside ($6). Also nice curry's and many other dishes. Everyone speaks English.

The food is so good and so is the smoothies!! The smoothies are amazing!!! It's a cute little cafe with a good atmosphere. The only problem is they take really long to make the food so don't come here if you are on a time limit but otherwise highly recommend.
