This was my third trip to Siem Reap, but my first to stay at Chronicle Angkor Hotel. The hotel is perfectly located, just a 10 minute walk from the busy pub street area, but on a quiet street with little noise. The Cabana room was magical. Very spacious, lovely fittings and it’s own little courtyard. I imagine that all rooms are lovely! The pool is also divine and although small never felt crowded! It was also very easy to book a tuktuk for sunrise/sunset at Angkor wat. The food at the hotel is also delicious and the cocktails refreshing. For the best deals/add-ons book directly with the hotel.

But, as mentioned on the 800 reviews before me, it is the staff that make this place special. Our focal staff for the trip was Sofia who was incredibly friendly and helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble and Sofia ensures all bookings, etc were smooth. Sofia, along with other staff, genuinely seem to care about their guests and the time they have at the hotel and in Siem Reap. All staff are attentive and proactive, but also give guests space and privacy - it never felt like staff were hovering around you.
Thank you all for a lovely stay!

We spent six days in this perfectly wonderful small Hotel. Amazing staff, so nice and welcoming, really five-star-service and the room was everyday perfectly cleaned. The rooms are tastefully furnished and decoratet. Poolgarden is small but very nice and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Anytime again!

When we entered the hotel we were greeted by the nicest most welcoming staff, who have certainly got out of their way to make us feel at home. The hotel is nicely situated close to the centre (5 minute walk) but just outside the more busy area which allows for a nice rest at night. The swimming pool is not huge but its is beautiful and with a fantastic setting. The Breakfast offers several choices for all tastes, accompanied of fresh fruit and natural fresh juices. I will definitely return to this hotel next time I'm in Siem Reap!

Room Tip: View of the swimming pool is the best one
