Where to start...
We stayed 6 nights in the family suite. Only because you don’t always have the energy to change hotels when you travel with young kids and after a day visiting the Angkor temples. Otherwise we would have definitely quit the hotel before.
Well, apparently they have only one family suite (4 beds), which is hidden at the corner of the building. No view on the pool.
In any case, the room has no real windows (only very dirty windows covered with a curtain). The double bed is in front on one window so I guess they don’t expect you to open the curtains. And from the dirt on the windows, they definitely consider they sell you a room without windows.
Don’t expect to have hot water! And if you do try to take a warm shower, the lights will go off and you will have to call the manager to fix the problem! It happened every evening. As there are no windows in the room, it get really dark, so make sure you have a flash light (of your own) nearby. You might want to grab a towel before crossing the dining room to call the manager.
At its best the water could get warm, but when the lights go off, it gets very cold, so you will have your kids screaming « it is dark, it is cold, with their hair full of shampoo... ». As the shower is big and as it gets cold when you get out of the very cold swimming pool, it could happen that you take a family shower, so you can imagine the scene when the lights turn off!
The manager did feel a bit sorry for us... He offered us to take a shower in the room next door when it was free, which happened twice... So we could walk along the dining room with towels around us after taking our shower...
Well, apart from feeling a bit sorry, the manager was not able to fix the problem during our stay.
The lights in the room were very poor. You always feel like you’re missing some light, which is the same around the pool. When it gets dark, there is no more light.
The location of the hotel is really bad, there is no point in staying so far from town. We like quiet place and thought it would be a good option to stay outside of town. But we were wrong. There is a night club or a bar near the hotel and you can sometimes here very loud music very late. The hotel is down a mud road with lots of holes which you will enjoy each time you ride a tuk tuk out of or to the hotel.
Tuk tuk prices for the visit to the temples are overpriced (20 USD a day for the designed tour). Our tuk tuk driver said we could change the program and he could also take us to the lady’s temple. When checking out, we were charged 30 USD for that day. When asking why, they answered because we added a temple. I told them the tuk tuk driver just offered to go there
with no mention of the price, so they answered that there price list is on the table in the middle of tons of advertisements... well, what do you want to say, then?!?!
Last but not least, the quality of the breakfast and the restaurant are very poor! It is the worst food we have had in Cambodia so far... but since the hotel is so far from the center (it will cost you 3 USD if you take a regular tuk tuk), you feel captive when you have small children and end up eating in their restaurant... They do have a free tuk tuk shuttle which actually does not bring you very far and you can take one of their mobile phones when you need a pick up. We tried it twice and it did not work, so we ended up taking a regular tuk tuk!
Well this hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel. I would not complain if the room had been 30 USD. But for 80 USD, you expect something better.
They did offer a financial compensation at the end (one night) but also canceled the Booking.com reservation so they probably did not need to pay them any commission and I lost the opportunity to write a review on Booking.com.
You can find much better options in Siem Reap!!! There are tons of hotels! And by the way, the hotel does not look like the pictures advertised on Booking.com!
Definitely, we do not recommend this place!

We absolutely loved this boutique hotel. The hotel staff were unbelievably friendly and hospitable. The hotel grounds were gorgeous and well-kempt. We absolutely loved spending afternoons and evenings at the pool to cool off after hot mornings exploring the ruins. We enjoyed many breakfasts (included with room), lunches, dinners, snacks, and drinks in the restaurant and at the pool side, and the food was all delicious, beautifully presented, and very reasonably priced. Our room was just beautiful, modern, and immaculatly clean. My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing and competitively priced luxury massage right in our room. The hotel staff arranged airport transfers (complementary), tuk tuk drivers for 2 days at the Ankgor ruins, a driver for one day at the National Park, and a tuk tuk and tickets to Phare circuis show. All were competitively priced and the drivers were all excellent and friendly. The hotel was just beautiful and such a romantic get-away. A luxury 5-star stay at the price of 3-star accomodations. One of the best parts of our trip! Thank-you!

Room Tip: Some of the rooms have private sitting areas or even a private balcony!

Exceptional staff....friendly, helpful, professional and accommodating. Front desk were fantastic with recommendations, directions, and information. The included breakfast was delicious and had variety. Cocktails were well made and tasty. The pool was clean and refreshing and a pool bar was a bonus. Food in the dining room was excellently prepared and presented. The room we had was 2nd floor overlooking the pool with a shared balcony. It was spacious and comfortable and included a mini fridge, 4 bottles of water daily, kettle for tea/coffee, hairdryer, and toiletries. The complimentary Tuk Tuk to/from airport was excellent. We used 2 of their Tuk Tuk drivers for touring (Prohm and Sarak) and they provided great service. There is also complimentary Tuk Tuk to/from downtown until 10:00 pm. So many great perks to staying here.
The only reason I didn’t give this a 5* is just a bit of work on aesthetics (some greasy hand marks from maintenance and tired walls) and a little more effort from housekeeping (webs in bathroom corners, tidying/cleaning balcony and pool furniture each day. Very small things, but otherwise would be a perfect stay. Great value for the price!

We stayed for two days at the hotel and it was last point of our Cambodia travel. It’s a good hotel with compact territory, small and cute swimming pool. Rooms are spacious, but need some update on my personal opinion. Staff is very good and attentive, all our needs were met at a first request. Breakfasts are good and if you’re out to a early tour, hotel staff would prepare a breakfast box for you. Free pick-up and drop-off service to and from the airport is also great. I would personally prefer to be located closer to the city’ center, but it depends whether you need tranquility or more action.
