We started our 25th Anniversary Trip here and we were afforded a wonderful welcome. Our room was lovely, spotless and had been beautifully decorated with towel swans and red rose petals.
We went upstairs to the pool area which is beautiful and ordered a late lunch which was absolutely delicious. The following day we had a quick noodle soup for breakfast (again delicious) and were off on a tour of Angkor Wat which was absolutely magical if more than a little hot. We returned to the hotel and after a necessary shower decided to have a massage, at $8 for one hour it would be rude not to. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for a further hour long foot massage. We did the same the next day after our visit to 'the floating fishing village' at Tonle Sap. I am a therapist myself and found all the treatments to be excellent.
The hotel is ideally situated for Siem Reap, just across the river from all the main activities and quiet enough for a good nights sleep. All the staff were wonderful, and I gather from the blerb in the room that they are training young people from disadvantaged families, you would not have known that anyone was being trained, they were all professional and delightful.
Many thanks and well done for making it a wonderful stay.More
