We stayed in this hotel for two nights, enjoying 2.5 days exploring the magnificent Angkor Temple complexes that surround Siem Reap. The hotel is in the center of Sien Reap, a block off the frenetic main street. It was a quiet location, yet so easily accessible to a great selection of restaurants and the night markets - all within walking distance.
The hotel is relatively old but very nicely maintained. The building looks grand, and certainly has that old world grand feeling about it, with the spacious open lobby and dining area. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. The room, on the first floor looked down to the swimming pool and bar area. Even so, the room seemed dark and gloomy. We had to call housekeeping twice - pillows had no pillowcases on them; the safe in the room was unable to be locked. These were attended to relatively quickly. The room was very spacious, and clean. The bathroom was adequate, although the hot water was not always available, and lukewarm at best.
The buffet breakfast was abundant, fresh and a great range of hot and cold foods to choose from, as well as eggs made to request. Fresh fruits were wonderful. WiFi internet was free, and signal was strong. There are many many hotels in Siem Reap, and overall, this seemed good value for money.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the street

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. Nice heritage building and friendly staff. This is so close to the city of Siem Reap and still located among tranquil settings. Nice pool although it could have been bigger. Limited items on the food menu but the taste was good (largely oriental). One drawback was the non-availability of 24 hours running hot water. But the rooms and comfortable beds made up for this. You can get tuk-tuks easily outside the hotel and the hotel staff help you get a good deal.

We spent 3 nights at Casa Angkor as part of an Intrepid tour. Rooms were good with comfortable beds and quiet but efficient air con.
The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good with plenty of choices from fresh omelets to noodles.
Location was in a quiet location, a short walk from the main road and all the action.
Definitely would recommend this hotel,

Some of the reviews are way overrated and i was very disapointed on all aspect by this hotel...
Dusty smell room, no hot water but comfortable bed.
Small, very small swimming pool for a 90+ rooms hotel.
Limited choice on drink list and food menu.
Breakfast was 100% asian, not my taste to have noodles and dumplings to start a day.
And last but not least, while at the swimming pool, housekeeping was doing my room. I went back to my room in the process and found one staff with my cash on his hand (yellow shirt, not green shirt of the housekeeping staff)...
Finally i asked the recption to deliver 2 carton boxes to my room. After 30 mn i decided to pick it up myself...
Really not a nice experience. I won't go back there, that is for sure.
