The hotel Regency Angkor has 170 rooms. The hotel is in all areas in a good condition. The rooms are spaciously designed with marble floors. The rooms well appointed, bright and comfortably furnished, with a seating area and a large table.
Rooms with view on the swimming pool are quiet. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning worked well; a safe, a kettle for tea/coffee, slippers, a flat screen TV with some English-language programs and a well-functioning, free Internet connection are provided. The bath room with tub and shower cabin has no windows, but is with a good ventilation.
The breakfast is plentiful, more tailored to Asian tastes; but freshly baked croissants, toast, eggs and a good selection of tropical fruits are available. The coffee tasted rather bitter. The restaurant in the lobby serves tasty food at a fair price until 10 PM. Wine and beer are compared to the neighbouring hotels and restaurants rather inexpensive. The atmosphere is elegant, with well set and white-clothed tables.
There is a lot of space around the pool with sun beds and umbrellas. The pool itself is large with a bar right inside. Cocktails go between $ 3 to $ 4. There are two Jacuzzis (one cold, the other with hot water). We found a perfect relaxation after a day trip to Angkor Wat.
The hotel has some tourist groups, like most of the bigger hotels in Siem Reap. During my stay the tours groups were from Japan and Korea. They are known to be discrete. Picking up and drop at the airport is offered free with an air-conditioned minibus. I can recommend this hotel without hesitation. The price / performance level is very good

The ticket office to Angkor Wat is located 1.5 kilometres from the hotel, the temple sites 5 KM further down the road. The entrance fee is USD 20.-per day. To hire a tuck-tuck with a driver for a day trip is absolutely recommended. It cost from $ 20 to $ 25.-. The temples are distant from each other. The 2.5 KM ride with the tuck-tuck to the night bazaar and pub Street costs $ 2.

Beautiful hotel with excellent, friendly staff. Had a huge room. Everything in hotel is immaculately clean. Very large pool and pool deck with swim-up bar. Location is good - can walk to a number of places. Very extensive buffet breakfast with lots of choices of western and Asian foods.

Room Tip: Most rooms have balconies. Ours did not but had a huge sitting area.

I stayed here for three nights...it was very welcoming when entering the front entry...the lobby staircase with chandeliers was inviting...the entire staff with whom I interacted were warm, friendly, attentive, and helpful...the hotel décor was quite oriental and interesting...the room was clean and well furnished...some English language tv stations was appreciated...the bed and bedding were fine...the A/C and Wi-Fi worked well...the fitness room and hot tub as well as the sauna and steam room were accessible and well equipped...locale was not optimum having to take a tuk tuk to get to the 'action' of markets, etc...the first morning I was invited to a breakfast buffet on the mezzanine level...it was unacceptably poor on several levels...that mistake was not repeated as I went to the breakfast on the ground floor in a room adjacent to the pool...it was good and offered a complete choice of many breakfast items including an egg station as well as a noodle station...it was a bit crowded and noisy with many tour groups, but still a good start to the day...there is a small ice cream station in the lobby, a welcome sight after a day in the humidity...now for the negatives...there was a large sign in the lobby advertising two for one cocktail hour...so, three of us went to the bar for a drink, only to learn the sign was not accurate...I wanted a straight drink (vodka) which was not covered...another person wanted a glass of wine...guess what?...not covered...beer, not covered...it turned out the only buy one-get one drinks were those on the cocktail list...please change the sign or expand the coverage...so, overall a nice stay in a nice hotel...I would unhesitatingly stay here again if circumstances allowed.

Room Tip: I had a front facing room. I heard from companions that the pool facing rooms are to be preferred.

We had a massive balcony room overlooking the pool. The pool had a swim up bar, plenty of lounges and large spa towels. The breakfast buffet had everything you could possible want except decaffinated coffee. So bring your own packets if you love coffee but can't have caffeine. This applies all over SE Asia. The lobby was breathtaking. The service was wonderful. Terrific to come back to after exhausting days exploring Angkor Wat Angkor Tom and the Jungle Temple. Just missed Angelina Jolie.

Room Tip: Ask for courtyard facing pool not the street view

It is located in main road between pub street and ankorwat. Whenever we went to downtown to take dinner, we dropped the hotel off for taking shower. The decorations of hotel looks asian or oriental style. The breakfast and restaurants decorations were in normal limit. I don't like loud voice of people in public. Some nationally seems to say too loudly. Nobody can say to the guest calm down. But it make me unfleasure from the morning. The swimming fool also good. But one women staff who may be work in saunar desk enjoyed heself in the Jacuzzis. I understand her mind but...
