We stayed at the Royal Crown Hotel & Spa because of its proximity to the Night Market, Pub Street, King’s Road and Old Market. We overall loved it because of the hospitality of some of the friendliest staff we’ve ever encountered. My mom passed away during this trip and we had to cut our visit in half and the hotel management, even though we booked through an outside agency, refunded the remaining unused days of our stay. We have had to leave early before on other visits throughout the world, even though we had already paid for an entire trip, and were not refunded any money. I asked for a tuk tuk back to the airport and asked how much the charge would be. They said don’t think about it and we’d get the company car to return us for free. I was going through enough stress already and the Royal crown was really helping me deal with minor things that I’ll never forget. We will return to Siem Reap and for sure we will stay at the Royal Crown Hotel & Spa.

Pros
Free pick up
Among the friendliest staff
Proximity to night life and markets
Spacious rooms
Excellent water pressure in the shower
Cleaning staff speaks English, is courteous and will give you extra supplies if needed
Check in and check out is such a breeze

Could do better
Maybe refurnish some of the older furniture
Make swimming pools a little larger or more inviting
The breakfast although very decent could stand for more of a day to day variety of dishes

100% recommended. From entry to key handover in the room was excellent. Instead of just handing over keys at reception they came with me to the room, explained everything in detail. Interet good.Breakfast could have a bit more variety.
