This is a very challenging site to cover. We had a guide. It is physical and a bit overwhelming when you are there ( 400 acres) , BUT the pics look amazing afterward when you are not climbing or feeling the heat. Best done early and allow two 1/2 days. It's hard touring. And a lot of info.

We went for the one day pass and I think that was definitely enough for us. We had a tuk tuk driver take us around from 4:30am (sunrise) to around 2:00pm and we got to see the smaller, "famous " temples. It's absolutely breath taking and we were just blown away with the shear size of the whole complex... to think it was all made by hand? Wow! There are huge waves of people who are there but that's just life. TIP:we did a reverse trip which reduced the crowds:) you MUST wear respectable clothing and you should bring a big hat, 2 big bottles of water and food because the heat drains you very quickly. Over all 100% worth going!

The size and level of restoration makes this a must visit. It is quite large and many stairs to see it all, so be prepared to walk. Our guide took us pretty early in the day and it progressively got hotter and more crowded. You have to stand in queue to reach the highest areas, but worth the somewhat harrowing climb up. Not good if you have mobility issues and bring water with you.

One of the best things i have ever done during my travels. It took me 2 days to see the all of it including AngkorWat. It is an Amazing place that you can simply not miss while visiting Cambodia and South East Asia
